Yup, the patch is here at US as well. The new GUI looks pretty neat. Also made the AnimeSuki clan for fun. Come in and join!

Clan tag: ASuki

Too bad AS was taken. So, that's the next best thing.

So yeah, just finished playing SC1 and Brood Wars. Now currently playing the campaign for SC2 in high quality to get back into this. Been 2-3 years since I last played, not going to get rusty now.

I'm already joining another clan, but how about an Anime Suki Group?

After all a clan can only hold 20 people, and Animesuki has a lot more then 20 members.

yeah people can watch replays online together and even resume/take over.

Still very meh about the plot of HotS: its too much like broodwar with multiple levels of treacheries and betrayals. I guess that is also the pinnacle of broodwar campaign.

The devs didn't answer that many questions in the Vengeance interviews.

I guess since the Xelnaga threat will be the major focus of Legacy of the Void, HotS should conclude the majority of the loose storylines: Kerrigan need to recontrol the swarm, Jim Raynor/the prince need to take control of the dominion, and the protoss will most likely survive the onslaught of Kerrigan to have the military strength against the Xelnaga: because Xelnaga seem to be something the three races need to combine strength to stand against.

If anything Zeratul saved Kerrigan by warning Raynor about Kerrigan being an essential piece of the puzzle against the Xelnaga. For all the crimes Kerrigan have committed against the galaxy, he should have just manned it up and kill her. Sometimes death can be a salvation.

If the Xel'Naga turn out to be human I will not be pleased.

I'd agree serious crap is going down in this one . This time we might be able to put a grave marker over Mengsk .

Curious to see how it all turns out. With the Xel'Naga Fallen One set up as the major threat for the Protoss game, need to leave things in a state where Kerrigan is going to be cooperating. I'd assume she's going to reach that key moment where it comes down to revenge and losing herself in the swarm against holding onto her humanity and prioritizing the future of them all.

We still have the normal animesuki chatroom so we can use that too.

First Day purchase for me hehehe just for the campaign, i have seen a lot of HOTS the multiplayer seems to be more action oriented than WOL with lots of early pressure instead of the macro-oriented game that it was before, i may be wrong though i will never know until i play it...

Watch some of the streams on TL; I heard a lot of flak about the way the meta game is working out, but (mind you, I'm only an NA platinum player), the games look really good! theyve added so many awesome area-control units (and anti-area control) units to the game that the battles are starting to resemble SC1BW battles. Sprawled out accross the center ( or large area) of the map, as they seem to be doing away with the death ball style. I donno, I think blizzard is going to crank out another top notch expansion.

Hmmm, I am so rusty in SC I am not sure I can even play.

Have not logged into my Blizzard account in two years.

Also I feel sad for Mengsk, he got turned from interesting villain to generic evil overlord TM in wing's liberty, just to die in heart the swarm.

Mengsk is also portrayed as rather weak and useless in WoL. In BW he was a lot darker and smarter: willing to sacrifice his troops, use the zerg to overrun a planet, spread more lies to claim the hearts of people, etc.

I rmb back when they announced the game there was a scene in which Raynor and his crew did not get along: I would have enjoyed to see Mengsk brew up a mutiny within the Hyperion - sadly they seen to have taken that away and everyone just somehow work for Raynor for free.

I guess he had gotten fat and complacent.

I think Mengsk has grown on the leader-role apparently. Even though it won't last that much longer, he's not good at all with dealing with the Zerg Swarm. He could deal with the Confederacy easily because he knows a thing or two about them. Using the Psi Emitters to lure the Zerg onto Confederate worlds and killing all that stood in his way.

The things I learned while playing SC1 and Brood War's campaigns just to get ready for this. Even asking my friend about the SC novels to learn even more.

Greeeat so half of the Dominion army and all of Raynor's raiders gives their lives just to bring back her humanity which Mengsk screwed her over and now she's screwing them back....geeze...
