Believe or not, Cecilia is the one that attempt to remedy it first, because most of the time, she's wangsting around not having a past ties to Ichika.

This changes after Houki told her about Westermarck effect, which by theory would make Houki and Rin has zero chance precisely because of their past ties to Ichika. Not that Houki will surrender or anything anyway.

(And yes, Ichika's reaction to both of them pretty much thwarted this)

Most of the girls actually have interesting backstories that were shunted. Cecilia had her parents death and her inheritance at a young age. Charlotte had the Dunoa arc and her mother's death. Houki has to deal with constantly moving due to witness protection. Run has divorced parents (Okay, that's pretty underwhelming). And Laura's a test tube baby super soldier. If these were focused on, they'd have a lot more depth. They were pretty much forgotten after their intro's bar the very rare mention

Its more in of corporate warfare, and it was pretty much proven that despite the development of the IS, the people who ran the corporations were still men. So he decides to perform a hostile corporate takeover just to show who's really in charge and have the means to do so. Empyrean being a Mirage pilot always had the sense of impulsiveness that Magi doesn't have. Magi's more about the long term and prefers to consolidate his situation involving proving AC dominance in the arena. If only a real tournament begin in honest for Magi though.

Answer for the question which I posted:

Overman King Gainer (The head looked like astronaut). the prototype IS retain the space helmet but now loaded with special hyper sensor to accommodate its speed (it's face changes depending on what sensors are activated).

and.... the inspiration for its body: Black Sarena (to hide the prototype's true identity as a prototype IS, by giving it an appearance of a high-tech fighter jet.

To add bonus to his role as evil counterpart: Its desalinated call-sign (by countries who encounter the Phantom Unit): Banshee. Because, whenever it go into attacking mode, it create a jamming signal sounds like somebody wailing (it also create the sound from its sonic boom due to distortion of the air surrounding it).... and people always die whenever it appear....

Joan will now be in the story.(Because the feminine male is funny when it come to Ichika....who is still wary about another Char incident....and he is a French... which make it double suspicious).

I will be taking down the Forbidden core to make way for the revised story. (because I don't want people to get confuse, revise story has elements of forbidden core in it, mainly males(Limit to two this time) in ISA)

@eras: Looks like Soran is the exception then. So far, anything with him seems to turn out rather serious.

With Ichika being partially handicapped, would the girls be nicer to him or would they still abuse him for every little dense to romance thing he'd do? Also, even though this won't really affect his usage of IS, would the academy treat him differently?(not as well as before due to being damaged goods? Protect him more precisely because he got hurt?)

@ Demi - I dunno about you, but I'd treat my friend a little nicer if their arm got cut off. Also, the girls will most likely beat him up once he gets the prosthesis back.

Side note - Spending time with the kids at the community gave me more ideas for FI

On the negative side, my shoulders feel like shot since I circled around the street multiple times with different kid's on my shoulders.

@ Treme - What's up with that nightmare? It looks like his everyday life.

@ Meistah - How are these people supposed to get together? Both being rich doesn't make Gin and Soran a couple.

@ Demi - Why a couple of years? They'd send him to the room and give him a load of replacement limbs the minute he comes back. Chifuyu would be first, and if not her, the government since he's the only male pilot.

Side note - Don't watch Kamen Rider.

The barrier is able to deflect the beam, which dissipates instantly, but the immense impact forces her to take a step back and secure a foothold to prevent her from falling backwards. ‘Hmph…! That attack doesn’t even have half the knockback of the Minerva’s Pitone cannons.’ Her eyes narrow as she smirks at the Golem, holding up her katana towards it. “My turn.” The Uchigane’s verniers blast with intense thrust, launching her towards it as she begins her retaliation. As she closes in, the drone shoots another particle beam at her. She jumps aside just as she sees the cannon muzzle flash, avoiding the oncoming shot and resumes advancing towards the Golem. “Gotcha!” She yells while swinging her katana onto it. *CLANG* The Golem parries her strike with its forearm, surprising her. “Eh…? Tch!” She boosts away from the towering drone, narrowly avoiding a punch from its other arm. ‘This can’t be a Praxidike drone… Its appearance is radically different from their standard units…’ She boosts aside to avoid another beam shot and charges in again. She swings up the katana upon closing in, tricking the drone into lifting its humongous armored forearms as she then spins around and goes for the unarmored portion of the Golem’s body. Swinging the sword horizontally, she manages to land a hit on its abdomen, leaving a shallow slash mark. “Strike~!” She exclaims with a grin and turns around, noticing that the Golem is aiming the particle cannons on both of its arms at her. It quickly charges up the cannons and simultaneously fires a couple of charged beam shots. Tsurugi instinctively holds up her katana and deflects the oncoming shots, holding her stance despite the impact force of the beams. The deflected shots hit random spots around the arena grounds and walls, erupting into explosions upon contact. Her expressions grow mildly horrified as she briefly looks at a part of the wall where one of the deflected beams struck. The wall has a major cracks branching off across the wall from a shallow crater where the beam hit, with bits of debris still breaking off from the wall. ‘Such power… This thing is definitely not Praxidike’s. However, I’m still taking it down!’ __________________ "You cannot be bad at watching a movie. You cannot be bad at listening to an album. ...But you can be bad at playing a videogame, and the game will punish you and deny you access to the rest of the videogame."

Rin appear to protect him but "her hand slipped...." and almost hit Ichika.... Steam from Cecilia's cooking has people screaming (actually I wanted to make it worst....but it has to transit into Charlotte's scene) Ichika broke a promise so Charlotte try to feed him Cluster bomb. Spoiler for random: I breathed deeply into the night air. In front of me the enemy stood, or more like floated. It was utter disaster, the fact that I let the driver be left in the hands of this person was just a disaster. I couldn't forgive myself. “I wonder if this is how it feels to receive the ultimate power.”, the girl spoke languidly. Her eyes seemed uninterested in everything else. They weren't looking at me or her surroundings. It almost felt like she was interested in nothing but herself. My hand reached for my own driver and pulled it into view. “That's not ultimate power.”, I told her. “Not even close.”. I placed the driver against my waist and let the driver's “roots” dig into my flesh. Soon a belt materialized around my waste as pain that I've grown accustomed to burned my nerves. I'll make you realize that soon.”. I raised my right hand in front of my face and said one word, “Henshin.”. The driver on my waist lit up. Nerves that were on fire moments before exploded into an inferno of agony that left me screaming. My voice warped into a guttural roar and faded into nothingness as my body finished changing. My whole body was now encased in a dark leathery armor. They resembled a biker jacket and pants but that was all influence of my childhood heroes. Hanging onto my neck was scarf that blew with the wind, it's bright colors contrasting greatly with the dark helm that covered my head. “Hahaha”, the girl laughed, “Such a weak looking evolution. I thought you'd be more formidable with a driver of your own, but it seems you're only on that level. I guess the difference is too large. After all, my IS was also evolved by the driver.”. Her mocking cackles grew loud. Eyes that had been focused on herself were now paying attention to me. But they didn't look at me as much as observed me, just as one would observe an animal. I clenched my fists, itching to move as the burning in my nerves were replaced with electricity that left me restless. Irritation forced recklessness as I declared, “If mocking is all you'll do then I'm going.”. I ran forward with every intention of decking her in the face. She stopped laughing for a moment to give me a scathing look as my fist was half a second away from making impact. Her eyes held a challenge, a question that begged an amusing answer. “Can you even break my shield?” My answer was swift when contact was made. The energy shield of her machine shown brightly and my enhanced vision was blinded, but I didn't let up. The right straight I shot forward was being repelled and I experimented with my strength as I pushed forward. Through the clashing lights I could make out her smug expression turn into surprise. I followed through with my punch but it only succeeded in sending her flying into an adjacent building. The armored girl emerged from the dusty hole, her face was no longer arrogant while her eyes betrayed no disinterest. Right now she was looking at me, as an equal and as a threat. “Maybe you could be fun after all. Would you let me test my strength?”, she pulled out her IS' sword with a smile. Responding with a shake of my head, I added, “There's no need to hold back.”. Her face broke into a grin at that, “Then I'll humbly accept!”. The speed at which she approached me would be blinding to others. However this was the norm for me. “When I said there was no need to hold back.”, I held her blade in one hand. “I meant me.”, I punched her again with my free hand. She laughed as her shield caught my punch again. “Fufufu! You don't get it do you!? My shield is invincible! Just your fist won't break it!”. “Yeah, I know that.”. I gripped my fist tighter as energy wrapped around it in a dazzling show of light. Lock! My punch broke the shield and went clean right through to her cheek. The force of the blow made her flinch. Jumping away, she tried to make heads or tails of what just happened. But the widening of her eyes tells me that she already realized. “So the driver has that function!?”, she trilled. The driver which was on my waist awhile ago was now on the back of my hand. On it's center gem was a dull glow to show its activity. The EvlDriver, or driver, is a tool that seeks out all genetic data and memories within a living thing. From all that information, it will forge a new path of evolution and force the user to take it. That path may be one that leads to godhood, but there are many possibilities, too many possibilities. Most user's just end up as mutants, others are imperfect beings. Then there are those like me who are lucky, those who've achieved an ideal half-way state. However to function as such, it requires ridiculous amounts of energy. Yes, one can also treat the EvlDriver as a mass of unbelievably inexhaustible and powerful energy as well. “I dislike hitting girls.”, I said so I grabbed the driver on my hand and twisted it. It began to roar and grow much much brighter than before. “I'll start with the finish.” Zenith! I flew forward with the charged fist reared back. She was quick to get on her feet again as she answered my advance with a slash. My left palm flew forward to block the blade but all it managed to do was take the strike. It was strong, cutting through the armor of the gloves and through reinforced flesh. The blade was only deflected from its trajectory by hardened bone. Once in striking range I pushed with my whole body and strength that it could muster. My blow landed squarely on her chest, breaking through her shields easily this time and practically forcing the IS' absolute defense function to use up all of its energy. The glare on my right hand gave out as I approached the girl's fallen form. She'd fallen unconscious after the attack made contact. Her IS had also returned to its close form so she was left in that ridiculous swimsuit of a pilot suit. I frowned at her frail figure. Still a child and yet she was grasping at a power well beyond her years. I knelt down and removed the leather jacket that acted as the outer layer of my armor. Placing my Right hand on the spot just above her left breast where the heart was. I closed my eyes and focused my senses. Her heartbeat was clear and most people could barely tell that there was something wrong with it. It was beating too loudly. “That's enough of your mischief.”, I muttered. Tendrils of energy emerged from my hand and dug into her chest. In my mind's eye I could see it clearly navigate around her heart and behind near the back. There was a blood red gem there which I detached from the walls of muscle. Slowly I tried to pull it out but it would not budge. “Just be a good boy and I won't smash you into pieces.”, I grunted. Once again I tried forcing the gem to turn into its ethereal phase but it still wouldn't budge. I was faintly aware that my efforts were hurting the girl. I grit my teeth in irriation and forced more power into it. I successfully turned the gem into its ethereal shape for a moment and pulled it out. But it turned solid just as it was passing through the pilot suit so this left the left half of the girl's chest exposed. I glared at the gem in my hand which pinged at me innocently. “This is why you didn't force her to evolve completely didn't you?”, I glared at the object in my hands. Sighing, I wrapped my jacket around her and rested her against a nearby wall. My transformation undid in a few moments and I pocketed the gem I'd collected. Driver only lend power to those who don't have any or who are in need of greater strength. Someone who's been supported by a power like the IS all their life don't have either.
