If a group of Level 0 boys gathered in the streets at night, they were treated as part of Skill Out. Consequently, there were Skill Out groups that were just 3 or 4 people gathered in a convenience store parking lot and some that made teams of a hundred and strutted around the streets.



Also if a season 3 is released do you think they'd condence all the remaining nine volumes and one special into one season or break it in to two seasons?

My thoughts on the episode:

Usually Index doesn't have as much humor and action + plot packed into one episode, I really enjoyed it! Himegami-Chan is kawaii~ as usual and well, the whole episode was cool.

We finally get to see GROUP. I really like the members, nothing i more effective than a group of semi-sadistic bad asses ready to slaughter anything that gets in their way.

meh, you shouldn't underestimate skill-out like that...some of these guys have enough battle experience to be effectively considered anti-esper experts. And they have acces to AC's technology...basically, they're like Touma, only with state of the art weapons instead of IB. Level 5s are too much, but guys like Komaba or Hanzo could take on most level 4 and win...

well most or rather some of the skill out are well trained to fight espers. They are like super athletes that's training for Olympics but in this case to fight the high level espers. They are trained with weapons and survival ways to live.

I read the epilogue and chapter 1 of the SS volume before watching this so in comparison I thought some parts of a few conversations were rushed and cut off. But excluding that, it was a really good episode. Can't wait for the last

In theory any way, it's far too easy for a single strong Esper to waltz in and create havoc, heck sometimes they won't be alone, look what 2 espers can do against all their preparations. While it's not fair to compare using Accelerator, it's rather optimistic to assume he's the only heavy hitter from the Dark Side.

Yes throughout the series are are some very strong normal humans that can take on Espers 1v1, but what makes them special is that they're very rare, and hardly the norm.

The latter would be the ideal choice. But who knows...

The level 0s may defeat level 1-2 with small numbers,
but I think they'll need a large number against Level 5 and may still lose.

Heaven Canceller was the one who saved Aleister's life, during that entire passage, you get the feeling that it was the only time Aleister express his Gratitude.

Excellent 9/10 for GROUP, start of the war, etc. Some faults in sounds, drawing, etc.

- Finnally Hyouka speaking again! I really hope they show her again though, that scene was very short!

- Heaven Canceler sent and got a warning!

- My favorite pairing Touma/Himegami!

- That scene with Touma and Tsuchimikado was hilarious!

- I was just getting excited by Awaki/Accelerator actions! They cut it soon!

wasn't it outright stated that random anti-skill > level 3? level 1-2 epers are pretty much regular guys when it comes to fighting, and even level 3 aren't much. Esper powers start being 'strong' for fighting purposes from level 4, and even then, on average they're not really better than high caliber guns and such...

it's only the level 5s that are off the charts...
