It was great. Even where it ended it was perfect just as Franky and Sanji regroup right in front of cp9. I think what stole the epside has to be sanji vs wanze in which wanze got kicked in bishie status Zoro vs T-Bone was good and nicely done especially the finish. I can't wait for next time where it's a showdown between cp9 vs soge king, franky,sanji for Robin.

Fucking awesome! Sorry for the vulgarity but that is the only way to project my emotions as I was watching this episode. There was not a single dull moment in the duration of 18 minutes and 17 seconds length of this episode. I would even dare to compare this episode with Luffy vs. Usopp episode.

Zorro: OMG! This dude doesn't do anything for 30+ episodes and suddenly, all is forgiven because he creates an awesome charged up atmosphere in a matter of minutes where one can't lie down any longer no matter how tired one is. The drawing of his facial expression was dynamite that is about to explode. The moments are absolutely perfect. Pure adrenaline rush. Sorry if I sound short-of-breath with so many sentence fragments in this paragraph.

Sanji: Fantastic finish and even greater announcement of his presence to the baddies by knocking on the door with the noodle making nose machine who he just kicked the disgustingly ugly bloke into a bishie. It would be interesting to see how Sanji fares against the CP9. I personally think they will mop the floor with Sanji & Co.

Franky: Nice entry from the roof though I'm still mad at him for stealing money from Usopp and exposing Usopp's self pitying side. I also think Franky will change my opinion about him in the upcoming episode.

At least the animation quality of the last few episodes is not bad at all. That's a good sign.

I just wish the joke can be a bit more scathing, like frankie can be a crazed miniature of Shiryu in Seiya...

I think Monir sumed up my feelings of the episode 261 as well, it's pure sex! I love how Zoro showed us once again that he is a complete badass by owning T-bone with two more new moves. Also Sanji and Franky had badass finishers too. But probably my favorite part is the introduction of Sanji to CP9.


I am taking a guess that 262 didn't air on sunday? Can someone confirm?

I hope Franky finds a solution to his back-related problems. Although keeping that part sensitive to attacks certainly makes him quite entertaining and matches his personality quite well, with an interesting strengthening addition to his back, based on the creativity, it might even become more funnier.

I finally got around to watching 261.

Jeez, that had the longest recap ever.
The rest of the episode was good, though. I was surprised that they are extending the Sogeking/Robin/Corgi scene...If I recall correctly, in the manga, it just went from Corgi staring at Robin w/Sogeking hiding, wondering what was wrong, and then the next time we see them

they run into CP9 and Sogeking just mentions that he had to take out a government official (cut to smoking Corgi)

but it looks like they're showing the whole incident in real time. I never did quite understand how it played out in the manga, it almost seems like maybe it was a case where a panel was cut for time.

It was nice that T-Bone got more screen time too, he rocks.

man it was nearly 7 mins before the ep properly started -_-

the fights were good, but i dunno, i was expecting better. maybe it got hyped too much before i actually watched it. zoros fight was hard to follow, but i loved it when he got the terminators eyes lol

The recap was long, but the episode overall was extended so it didn't cut into the episode time.

I think one of my biggest complaints in this episode is that they drew Franky HORRIBLY leading up to the Ultimate hammer, but otherwise the animation wasn't bad.

Yeah, the episode was pretty cool, though I thought that both Wanze and Nero's defeat scenes could have been done better... Zoro's was done nicely, though (gotta love that brief demonic look he has before attacking T-Bone). And Soge's nose sticking out of Robin's clothes was a rather neat touch, too. Well, it won't be long until Puffing Tom reaches its destination, which should mean:

Well this was an okay episode, they spent a lot of time recapping to kill time. Some awesome soge action inside the train cart especially the slow motion smoke bomb and sanji's weird tekkai breaker kick were great at least. Episode ends with Blueno appearing behind Sanji with his air door. Next ep airs 4/30.

Anyway, my thoughts on the episode:

It wasn't bad. I thought that the part where Lucci finished off Nero was done well enough, and I liked the short filler scene of Soge King taking out Corgi (what happened to that guy anyway? You don't see any sign of him OR Wanze afterwards in the manga...). Still, I thought that the episode ended at an awkward moment (when Blueno reveals his Air Door power). It would've been better if the episode ended at chapter 373's ending (when the train almost reaches the Lobby). Well, next episode will most likely reveal the Enies Lobby CP9 agents, although they weren't shown in the preview... I can't wait to see those guys animated!

Yeah the Sanji action was the highlight of the episode for me.

As a whole I didn't like 262 very much. It felt very awkward. It kind of felt like the directors were a little bit unorganized in bringing this chapter to the screen, and the animation was poor. Fotunately 263 looks a lot better.
Just a wierd side note: Sogeking didn't foam at the mouth when Robin was choking him like in the manga. XD

And another thing...Toei sucks for making it appear that Sogeking is sitting next to Robin rather than her on his lap. How dare they ruin my fantasies!

i finally got my hands on ep262, probably cuz i was waiting on a sub. anyway, a few things i enjoyed this episode.

franky's warmups. his stretches and whatnot in preparation to deal with cp9 was hilarious. he was doing poses left and right. man, i do hope when alls said and done, he's one of the mugiwaras. he just gotta. fits right in.

sanji's attack. i thought his 'concasse' attack was pretty sweet and seem very devastating. yet... still unable to fully break thru tekkai. all the more reason why i wanted more sanji battle in the later stages. he's being shown that he's rapidly dropping in the strawhat power ranking.

decent ep i guess. looking forward to the next couple for the
