This is starting to make a whole lot of sense . I'm aware that vertigo has a lot more to do than just heights, but the feeling is very similar to what I feel when I look off a tall building. I never co-related the two because I didn't think there could be any relation (I still don't know if there is), and since only happens rarely. You might be on to something!

Thanks so much for the help

Not always. I had my first diagnosed seizure at 19; scared the bejesus out of my girlfriend sleeping next to me. I've had about a half-dozen seizures since then, though none for about a decade now. I only get them while I'm asleep, so it hasn't really interfered much with normal life.

Being an only child I could have had seizures when I was younger, and none of us noticed. On the other hand, given the rather large hole I managed to bite into my tongue the first time around, I'd be surprised if I'd had seizures and not known about them.

If you like songs that are in the death metal/heavy metal genre will people think you're a devil worshipper?

Make up questions :/ I need some tips

On the average day for my eyes I use faded eyeshadow together with coal and mascara, however the problem is that when I have it on my eyelids it is basically sweated off in the middle of the day and at the end of it you can barely see it anymore. What can I do to keep my eyes shaded up and not have it whipped off by blinking, warmth etc.

There are a lot of idiots playing DoTa in WCIII as well. I don't really know why so many kids seem to play since it is a pretty old game at this point.

If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?
(Yes there is a correct answer to this.)

If the sound waves created by the falling tree action are not percieved by the hearing organs of a nearby organsim before the frequency of the wave drops to zero, then no sound is heard.

Sound waves would still be emitted, though... it isn't that simple. That's why it is a cliche question with no real answer.

There is one real answer: It depends on how you define sound.

If sound is the vibrational wave itself, then yes, it makes a sound. If sound is what your brain interprets, then no, it does not make a sound.

It's been in my head for a while now. What do you mean by "Yamato-ish"?

Also, how is this forum connected to animesuki.com?

well actually...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/If_a_tr...ls_in_a_forest

there are many answers, with various justifications.. take a look for yourself if you're interesting, its a very very well known riddle.

But someone above mentioned the crux of it, it depends on your perception and definition of what the word sound entails. Then theres the debate of the unobserved vs the observed world, and of course, if a tree fell in a forest, and no one ever heard it, did it really ever fall? and so on and so forth. Not going to get very far with this question unfortunately.
