I've been away from the anime scene for about 3 months, and I am just wondering if there has been anything good coming out. I've browsed this forum a little and found a couple of series but I am just wondering if anyone else could recommend something

As far as what I like in a series, what I am looking for honestly is character development. I want to actually care about the character. The only other thing I'd prefer is to not have fan service for the sake of fan service. If it is relevant to the plot I don't mind, I'd just prefer not to have gusts of wind blowing skirts every minute.
