Me: Look at this Setsuna...
Setsuna: ???

Spoiler for Episode 8:

Me: You better try to not use Innovator's power too much... Your head is in danger...
Setsuna: ??? (Bad for Health? Ask those Innovades to stop disturbing me.)
Me: You too Lelouch. You don't want to be the same way as Ro... Oh wait you are dead already...
Lelouch(Ghost): I am not... And I know what you mean...

Teru and Episode 9 did indeed live up to the pre-episode hype.

The cyborg-esque wind-current producing hand was also lolzy in a good way.

Even though Teru was showcased well here, Toki may have actually been the star of the episode, as she had a lot of great scenes in it. It's not hard to see why she came in so highly in that recent Saki character popularity poll.

The only aspect of this episode that I found disappointing is how hopelessly outclassed the Achiga-hen girls seem again. Now, given the level of competition, I don't mind Kuro not winning any points. But the fact Kuro's basically petrified to the point that she's not even properly following the play is disappointing given how Toki and Ms. Marvelous are at least keeping their wits about them and even managed to put a slight dent into the Teru Train. Yeah, Kuro needs to start trying to do her part to try to at least limit the amount of damage Teru will inflict.

9/10 for Episode 9.

9/10 for Episode 9.
The train just took a slight damage... Thats it... It will heal and the more it heals the faster it goes... Current speed is 1000km/h

No Innovators or X-Rounders can stop Teru now...

Possible suggestions to beat Teru(From episode 8):
1. Pure skill
2. Newtypes
3. Dragon Road(Kuro. PLEASE DO SOMETHING!!!)
4. Coordinators
5. Super Pilot
6. MARVELOUS!!(Kirame. MARVELOUS! I got OWNED.)
7. Innovators/X-Rounders/Knight of One's Geass(A.k.a Toki as shown in this episode.)
8. NT-D
9. Saki(Sad that she can't face her sister as they are in different position.)
10. Newtype Pressure
11. Kamille Thoughts

Those that does not have any brackets means they are other suggestions if there are such abilities/skills.

Episode 9:
Same case.(We don't know if point 7 is really ruled out or not...)

I'd say. If Hisa could come up with a scheme to contain Saki -- I am willing to bet that Hisa could come up with a scheme to contain Teru.

12. Kuro receiving a Bright-Slap from the man himself.

I figured I'd throw that out there since you were making some really great Gundam references.

But after chatting a bit with Konakaga about it, I may have been a bit too hard on Kuro. Her situation truly is nightmarish; the most nightmarish situation any Saki protagonist has faced thus far, really.

Teru is indeed the perfect Monster Heel. Vince McMahon would be proud! And Toki is not a bad Main Eventer herself.

But, Saki still uses her Rinshan Kaihou even when she was playing +/- zero. Especially if she is cornered like the her fourth and fifth match shown in the series wherein everyone is trying to break her +/-zero streak.

The alternative will actually make Saki look more hax since she actually played Teru and got consistent +/- zero without using her power. So I'm pretty sure that Saki still used her Rinshan whenever she played with her family.

Though Saki might not be trying to win, she's also trying not to lose and to get her desired score she must not allow Teru get her ridiculous winning steaks so Saki probably disrupted Teru's playstyle a lot. This disruption probably comes from changing the drawing order considering Saki's playstyle makes doing that really easy... so Teru probably found a way around it or got some sort of immunity as I've said before...

In fact, I just realized something while watching this episode... Teru has a magical mirror that reveal a person's true self or as the anime puts it allows Teru to see you at your core.

By virtue of having this ability that means Teru must have known Saki is playing +/- zero right from the start... Oh dear, Saki's flashback makes a lot of sense now wherein Teru was asking Saki to bloom with all her might like the flowers on top of the mountain...

They could try really fast plays like what Hisa did with Saki. Open quick easy hands to stop Teru's consecutive winning. I also think Kuro needs to get on the program and help Kirame and Toki gang up with Teru. She needs to help the other two if they'll have a chance of stopping Teru because as Hisa's match with Saki have shown the moment the alliance were broken Saki won. And by the looks of it Teru is a bigger monster than Saki has ever shown she was.

Well just wait next episode if Kuro got what Kirame and Toki is doing she seemed to be confused here...

That man is dead brother... We have to find the same VA as Char now...("Char" Girl, aka Yuu.) If the VA of their father is Char/Amuro, I can kill myself.

Speaking of which, you have ANY idea why I said Innovator?(Hint: Toki's eyes.)

And damn, who can stop Teru now?

Add a new suggestion...

Why am I getting the vibe that a certain member and combat instructor of TSAB is looking down upon this table and remarking that "You have learned well my child" or words to that effect? We have seen a Gundam take human form (work/defence) before, this is one that seems, to have been built for what looks to all the world like 'recreational pastime play'.

A 'straight zone' would likely have Teru humming along to the old song "Don't fence me in" before the real 'tear-drops start'

Who are they? (Curiousity.)
I know one who has the same VA as Teru...
Don't remind me of that Combat Instructor... I know what she did...

Gundam take human form? Who? (Only know of Toki's Innovator's eye.)

I knew it... Just noticed about Teru's VA being White Devil's student...

But then a guy watches the show and saw Toki's 2 turn ahead eyes easily(Don't know how.)... Thought it was "that person". And called her "Young Lad".

Who is "That person" and the guy?(Before that, who is this "Gundam in human form"?)

Operator A: Radar has detected a tornado.
Captain: A tornado? At this timing... location?
Operator A: Japan Sir...
Captain: JAPAN? I thought that area has occasional tornadoes...
Operator B: Showing the video.

Spoiler for video:

Captain: ...Nah that thing can't even leave the place right? Leave it be..

If I'm not mistaken, isn't the Kuroko-voiced girl one of Nodoka's teammates in Middle School?

Correct, but it's only revealed in an extra chapter (something I learned myself recently). She moved out of Nagano by the time Nodoka, Yuuki, and Maho made the team though.
