It's 'good enough', though most of the dirty jokes are wordplay anyway so I wouldn't know a bad translation even if it was right in front of me

But yeah, imo, it's good enough to watch.

According to Manga-news, 2 new OVAs are planned next spring and next summer (and more later ? Look at the graph).
Seriously with all those OVAs, they could have made a 2nd season. I'm still happy to get more Seitokai Yakuindomo.

OVA's are less demanding on the production crew since they don't have a weekly dead line to meet along with the fact that they get a buttload more time to deliver just a single episode. With a TV airing, they get less time but need to produce more episodes, something GoHands probably aren't able to handle, since they have the K anime to worry about which will be airing really soon.
This way they're able to stretch the life-span of the series out over a longer period of time, whilst also encouraging manga sales give their pattern of releasing the OVA's with selected manga volumes.
It's nice to see that they're still supporting the series by making more animated content for it. It shows that they still care for the franchise and want to keep interest afloat for it

You're certainly right. They are still a small group and coudln't handle it before because of Mardock Scramble and now K.
Your comment about life-span is interesting by the way and I agree. I would say a 2 years period between two series isn't that long but I guess japaneses otaku tend to forget quickly some franchises.

The series (not depending on the fact if it's TV or OVA) never disappointed me and keeps amusing me whenever I see a new short-story made up.

Although I'll agree with the comment of kyouray above - with all these OVAs coming up and stuff, they should have made season 2 instead.

Nevertheless, it's one of not much anime series I'm actually "waiting" to get released each season (speaking of OVA).

This episode seemed a bit different than usual. Though the jokes were still the same as ever, the tension between Shino and Taka was non-existent, Aria seemed less crass than usual and even Hata didn't appear to be nearly as inquisitive than she normally is.

Still, I had no problem laughing at all the other stuff this episode had to offer – from Suzu trying once again too hard to look 'grown up', to Naruka jumping Taka in the middle of the night.

That's probably because a large chunk of the episode had a focus this time: uncovering the mysteries of the school. These characters act differently when they have a goal, and there was less opportunity to make random dirty jokes.

So much food near the end, it makes you hungry. I enjoyed the little story with the strawberry since it has happened to me some times with random food and probably to many people

Most of the girls in that school seem to be just like Shino (some worse, some less), so I don't think they really care all that much about that. Heck, the only one who probably cares is the Countermeasures girl, and we've seen what that 'revelation' did to her.
