We don't even know if it's planned to happen or not.

I think he's just annoyed either way. I mean, if this was a western cartoon/comic with the level of popularity Gurren Lagann did, we'd have that figure already. I'm very frustrated at how few anime get action figures, yet there are countless non posable figures and flimsy model kits that fall apart when you put them in a bag. "Otaku" is looked down upon in Japan very much, but that's no different from here.

Don't worry guys. Gainax are kings of milking their franchises. I'm sure we'll get the figurines sooner or later.

New images of Yoko MMS.

I'm not really digging all the screw holes on the back.

Here's a Yoko pillowcase I got. Kinda reluctant to use it, for obvious reasons:

How big is that Yoko? I'm not paying that much for a figure that's any shorter than 6". Also is there a Kamina/Simon/anyone else at all in the same line?

Oh that kicks so much ass! That really is some of the sweetest figurage I've ever seen. I noted Impact Lagann's awesomeness before, where can I get him?

Can you take Simon out of Lagann? Can he stand on his own?

If so, all we need is a KAMINA figure! I hope Revoltech GAR will give us one!

I checked the size of Yoko, it's just over 5.5 inches(average height for a woman in feet), making it perfectly in scale with modern 6" figures(unlike a lot of unrealistically tall comic book females, hint hint).

I ordered my Lagann from Hobbylink Japan.

Simon IS removable and his upper half has quite a bit of articulation.

BUT his lower half (legs) are molded in a sitting position.

Nooo! That sucks. Is there a Simon figure with articulated legs? Would it be easy to remove his lower half and replace it with a posable one?

Whoa. I can't wait to see the finished product.

On a related note.....MMS Yoko ALREADY discontinued at HLJ.com? Good thing I ordered mine at the last second.

Item is out of stock and the manufacturer has discontinued it. We don't expect to get any additional stock for the forseeable future.

Out-of-stock items are displayed with squares (in-stock items with circles). Black squares with a "jolly roger" skull and crossbones indicate items that we have no stock of, and that have been discontinued by the manufacturer.

Anyone know which R2 DVD volume the second DVD box comes with? Regarding the JPN R2s that is. I'm assuming there will be another one for volumes 5-9.

edit: Yeah I know it probably won't be with all of them just as part of the first press extras like with the first box.

Eh, maybe a more complete soundtrack? That would be AWESOME.

There are a ton of themes I still really really want. Is this confirmed...?

Hehehe. It's a 4.8 inch plamo (plastic model) which is coming in March 2008.

Some assembly and paiting is required for it to look THAT good.

From what I can tell there's a wide range of movement in the waist, elbow, thighs, neck, and arms.

It also looks like the Flight Pack can collapse.
