The chance of this is pretty low. One big reason for the movie is to capitalize on the established characters.

There's probably no chance of this unless Mizushima isn't director any more. And if that were the case, then the movie probably won't be worth watching either.

If they use this plot, I would prefer them to just only use member of Oorai teams to represent Japan in international. I don't like the idea of mixing them with other school. Maho, Darjeerling , Katyusha and Anchovy can be their audience.

Good idea for spin-off series but doesn't fit for movie plot, I think.

This is excellent news; even if the date is somewhere far in the future, at least we have a release date (and time flies, so that's not a problem!) I'm hoping that Cineplex will have screenings of this movie: they'd be foolish not to offer this movie, if anything.

Director Tsutomu Mizushima confirmed on Sunday that the movie edition of Girls und Panzer, the popular anime of girls riding and fighting in tanks, will now premiere on November 21. Before this new date, the film was originally slated for last year, then delayed again to this summer. Additionally, the movie is now slated for 120 minutes instead of the originally planned 90 minutes, and Mizushima vowed to do his best to meet that goal. Singer ChouCho will perform the theme song.

The announcements were made at a Sunday talk show during the Oarai Spring Festival's 4th Kairaku Festa at Ōarai, the Ibaraki Prefecture town that served as the model for the anime. The talk show revealed that a trailer for the movie will come out in June and limited edition models will soon be available.

A poster with the new visual for the film also debuted on Sunday. It features Miho Nashizumi with a tagline that reads "Take it back."

That's a rather farfetched assumption considering that the PV shows Oarai fighting as Oarai rather than as another school. Also, GuP tends to have posters that look serious on the onset, like the Anzio OVA poster:



Then compare the stark and serious look of that poster to the fun times of the Anzio OVA

I'm counting on it! Girls und Panzer's main charm was because it was able to put forth those fun times rather than trying to take a more serious route. In fact, I'd dare to say that the posters and key visuals are done to depict the characters in a more serious light, because otherwise, there'd be no chance to do so

I don't know who she is, but it looks like Gloriana has some very good drivers in its Crusaders!
