Luna's violent song is the true 'God'. Awaiting the whole song.

More reason for them to all get in gear and do something that will actually not "suck" but I can't say I didn't see it coming how many of their "Manga" adaptations end in a giant epic fail.

This, of course, is good time for a certain studio, who's been effing us rater rotten recently, to jump and and prove the justice of thier culture like they did with another certain series involving big stompy mechs and comedy.

[Repeat of message on the other SnH thread . . . ]

Looks like Funimation got the license. Details are here:

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news...d-comedy-anime

I really kind of expected ADV to be the licenser (once their licensing troubles cleared up) because they had (A) "tried" to do Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch at one time, and (B) they had a mermaid-themed sample DVD a few years back in the American Newtype magazine.

Still, Funi should do fine (as long as they work out all those darn DVD encoding problems that stall the programs mid-play).

At this point in time there doesn't seem to be any indication that the 2 part OVA is part of the license, it just seems to be the 26 episode TV series.

Perhaps a little later than usual, but I finally got around to watching the second OVA.

The first part with the maid service, the spit takes, the awesome new songs (Go Luna!) was a lot of fun. The second part actually did a nice job with the horror atmosphere. Too bad Iinchou got such a short appearance, but other than that it was the same good time I've come to love from the series. Too bad this is the end for now.

At least there'll be the mini-album.

SnH is one of the best comedy series I've ever seen. I haven't laughed so hard like this since School Rumble. Although the characters are always over-react but they are very funny. Too bad it doesn't popular enough to have its own section in this forum.

OVA 2 is very good. Luna's violent song is definitely win. The moment when she started singing the intro and when the word "LUNAR" appeared are perfect. It's powerful and intriguing. I think it sounds like dragonforce though. I've to mention that the second episode could actually make me goose bump. Pretty good job!

Got the tracklist for the OVA mini album that releases this week.

In addition to short size versions of the OP and ED themes to the OVAs, highlights include:

-San and Luna's new songs.
-Saa-tan's theme

And a new remix, "Romantic summer 2009".

Got my hands on the Mini Album earlier today, and Luna's Violent Song is as awesome as expected in its full form.

"Romantic summer 2009", sung by the SetoHana Angels with a different arrangement backing, is also nice.
