Personality: Intelligent, aloof, proud, arrogant, and yet bored. Also a tsundere, but a tough one.

Background:A former IS Test Pilot for late 2nd Gen and 3rd Gen prototypes and currently a representative candidate for Japan.
This was due to her older sister being involved with research and development of IS.
Fuuko admires her and tries to help with her when possible, so for a while she was a prototype test pilot.

She obtained her personal IS, at that time.
Kyuubi, is an IS modeled after a nine tailed fox, each piece of equipment representing a tail.
Equipment consists of: 4 remotely-controlled "Bits", 2 Rocket Launchers, 2 Long Swords, 1 Beam Sword

Although short (probably shorter than Laura Bodewig), Fuuko is athletic, a fast runner and specializes martial arts that focus on footwork and kicking.
She is intelligent and knowledgable of how IS work, but is aloof from the rest of the class and only answers when deemed necessary.

Furthermore, Fuuko hates men. In fact, it's also one of the reasons why she entered IS Academy.
The cause of this was that her parents divorced when she was still little, and her older sister was "taken away by that man" (means she got married), rarely seeing her.

Because of that, Fuuko no longer trusts men, being an IS pilot also contribued to that.
She can barely stand the presence of a man in a room, and may even be hostile if approached by one.

Once she found out that Ichika was also enrolling into the academy, she practically declared war on men.

Spoiler for First Contact, First Obstacle:

Infinite Stratos, also known as 'IS', changed the world.
First developed 10 years ago for the purpose of space exploration, that project is currently on a standstill.

Possessing combat capabilities far more advanced than any other weapon system, the 'IS' threatened to tip the balance of power in the world.
So to avoid conflict, the 'Alaska Treaty' was created to prevent the use of 'IS' for war.
Instead, a sport with 'IS' at its core was born, which also provided data for research and development.

But, the 'IS' system has a "fatal flaw": It only reacts to female pilots.
In a flash, women became protected and far more valuable to society.
The gender which had ruled since the beginning of mankind, had suddenly fallen from its throne.

...Or so people thought.

IS Academy, the world's only IS pilot training school. Students from all over the world gather here to study and become IS pilots.
For 3 years, people from different countries work to improve their skills.
And now, he'll be enrolling in it...

*yaaaaaaaaawn* Orimura Ichika lets out as he walks, still sleepy after having to wake up early to catch the train.

He wasn't in the best of moods. His dream of a normal and peaceful high school life went down the drain when he activated an 'IS' by accident.
After that the news spread like wildfire, quickly the whole world found out about him.
To make things worse, his older sister Chifuyu was the one that enrolled him into IS Academy...even if she hadn't, the government would do it instead.
And so, he is the first male student to step into this school.

With a sigh, Ichika's shoulders slump. Rummaging through his pockets, he pulls out a piece of paper with a map drawn, a mad of the academy.
"Let's see...first year's building." He checked the map then looked around.

Up ahead were a group of buildings, each marked with 1, 2 and 3, no doubt that those are the ones.
"Hm?" As Ichika headed to the 1st year's building, he quickly noticed that there was someone standing at the front door.

By her clothes, she was a student. Dark, long hair, her arms folded across her chest and...short, very short. Making her look like she should be in middle school.
The girl, also noticing Ichika, waited for him to be close enough to speak.

"So, you came after all." she frowned.
"Huh?" Ichika blinked, "Do I know you?"
"No, and let's keep it that way." The girl continued to stare at him, with a glare that could pierce through rock.
"U-Uh..." Ichika felt the sweat run down his face, was it the sun? or the tension? Maybe even both...

"No need to exchange names, because you're going to turn around and go back from where you came from!" She unfolded her arms and charged at him.
"Wha-!?" Ichika flinched at the sudden hostility, simultaneously dodging an also sudden roundhouse kick out of luck.
"Tch." She clicked her tongue, but continued to attack, this time aiming low.
"Wait a--uwa!" His right leg is swept off the floor, made him lose his balance and fall on his butt.
"Oww--eh?!" Not giving him time to recover, the girl now had her leg risen up to shoulder level, ready to drop on him. Also, it revealed the bike shorts under her skirt.
Ichika still managed to avoid it by rolling out of the way, a loud slam followed.

With a little distance between them, Ichika should have taken the chance and run away but instead he looked at the girl, she was still glaring at him but now with small tears on the corner of her eyes.
"I-it must've hurt..." He commented.
"Y-you!" She snarled, her canines showing.
Ichika felt a chill down his spine, and now thought it would be wise to run. So he did.
"Wait you coward!" She gave chase.

Still unfamiliar with the school, Ichika randomly ran around with hope of meeting someone...with no luck.
"What is it with you? What did I do?" He asks as he continues to run, then looked over his shouled, "Wha--Fast!" He says, surprised at how fast she caught up.
"This school is a sacred ground for maidens only! Your mere presence here will disturb the peace and corrupt it!"
"What kind of answer is that?!" Ichika pushed himself to run faster...but the lack of club activities in the last years had softened him.

After a cat and mouse chase around the buildings Ichika runs to towards the tracks, the girl catches him and the chase is comes to an end.
"Oof!" Ichika was face down on the dirt, with a foot on his back, keeping him down.
"Choosing the tracks was a bad move." She says.
"W-what are you? Track and field member or something?"
"None of your business." She continued to look down on him. "Leave and don't come back. This school isn't for the likes of you!"
"What did I do to you? Why chase me around school just to get me to leave?" Ichika asked as he looked up at her.

The girl's left eye twitched, "Because you're male, that's why."
"Eh? What kind of reason is that?!"
"Enough of a reason for me! To think a male can pilot an 'IS'...it's nonsense! And on top of that---" She applied more pressure with her foot.
"You just had to have the same face as 'that man' who stole Onee-chan from me!" She starts grinding her foot on Ichika's back.
"Owowow! Don't just redirect your anger onto me!" He raised his voice.

That time, a voice was heard from the edges of the field, "Hey, what are you two doing there?"
"Tch, a teacher." The girl clicked her tongue, then released Ichika.
"Ow..." He rubbed his back, "Are you trying to open a hole on my back or s--wah!" Ichika is grabbed by the collar of his uniform, his face less than an inch away from her's.
"This isn't over." Her gold colored eyes stared at him, "I'll let you go for now, but remember this: I will never accept you!"
Letting go of him, the girl makes a run for it before the teacher gets too close.

Dusting off the dirt from his uniform, Ichika looks at her go, running at a speed that is surely at prefecture record level.
"What a strange girl." He comments in a low voice. "Hmm?" He notices something shining on the ground.
"Student ID?" He says after picking it up.
The card was brand new, and on it was the photo as well as the student's full name "Amamiya Fuuko...1s year?! For someone speaking so arrogantly, I thought she was a 2nd year..."

At the time, Orimura Ichika still didn't know what was reserved for him in the near future...

Here's one of a series of Pre-series shorts of sort.

Spoiler for A Sixteenth Birthday:

Ho Chin Minh, Vietnam.

In one of the many coffee shops of the city, a pair of what seemed to be businessmen were anxiously waiting for their coffee, laptops clicking away with the sounds of typing. The two men, one with signs of obvious aging- white, almost bald head and wrinkles on his face and the other, young, were clearly waiting for something, or someone.

“Who referred us to this person anyway?” The old man grunted, in what seemed to be French- obviously annoyed. “And why did you drag me out in the middle of the city just to have coffee?”

“Relax Mister Avadigne.” The younger one replied- also in French. “A friend of a friend of a friend of my Sister-in-Law got wind that this person would be able to provide us what we needed- and that we have what he wants.”

“Couldn’t we just talk about it in some other way?”

“Well for these kinds of transactions, we need to be more personal- and besides, if anyone we don’t like gets wind of this, we might end up in a really bad spot. And besides, the said person we are meeting is in the city at the moment- coincidentally.”

“So that’s why to dragged me instead of Lafarge?”

“Well, as leader of the Team, you have the honor of meeting the client.”

And from the busy street infront of the shop, one of the many motorcycles that ply it turned and parked at the curb- as it is the norm for that area. And what alighted from it was at first glance, seemed to be a local- but then none of the locals stood at near seven feet this person was standing at.

“Speaking of which.” the younger man spoke and raised a hand, catching the attention of the said person. “Over here my friend.”

And once he had seated, the formalities began.

“Mister Avadigne, meet Mister Marcus Zobel. Mister Zobel, this is Mister Alphonse Avadigne and I am Erik Auvais- the one you talked with on the telephone.”

“Pleasure is mine.” Marcus returned to greeting. “Luckily I was around. So gentlemen, should we proceed with business?”

“Gladly. As I was telling Mr. Avadigne here, we have what you want, and you have what we need.” Erik then began to speak. “In short, in exchange for funding, we would be able to “rent out” the unit.”

“He is correct. We are currently returning our investment into the unit and so far, Dunois and his cronies have managed to keep us down.” Alphonse followed up. “That’s why we’re looking for... more ‘clients’.”

“I fully understand what you mean by that. So I came here with a small proposal- what Mr. Auvais here has said. I would gladly pay to have the unit.”

“I was wondering, for what purpose do you need it for?”

“Well, it is for my niece’s 16th birthday present.”

Marcus’ reply quickly ended the string of questioning of the two Frenchmen. Silence went by for a few seconds and Erik managed to ask again.

“Your niece, for her birthday?”

“Exactly. She’s going to the IS Academy this coming schoolyear and I thought, ‘why don’t I give her the appropriate gift?’. And here I am tr-”

“We simply cannot accept that.” Alphonse suddenly cut in. “We cannot afford some... child to use the Metatron. That unit is the product of our ha-”

“Now listen here Mr. Avadigne...” Marcus then countered, the look on his face indicating a ‘no you’ attitude. “I did not come here all the way from Manila just to fool around with some geriatric French Engineer who coincidentally has a high outstanding debt on one of my casinos.”

Alphonse’s face suddenly turned white while Erik’s was of surprise.

“Yes, Mr. Alphonse Avadigne, you have seemed to remember your escapades in the Philippines.” Marcus then spoke again, taking out a cellphone. “Now let me tell you this, either we do this like any normal transaction, or I'll let the collectors deal with you instead.”

Again, silence came and was then broken by the arrival of a waiter.

“Your orders?”

“Two iced coffee with milk.” Erik managed to reply. “And...?”

“Make it three.” Marcus added. “But with lots of milk.”

“Let me repeat your orders. Three iced coffees with milk- one of them with more. Is that all?”

A nod ended that part of the story- and once again silence. Moments pass by and the iced coffees were now served. Marcus was stirring his with vigour, as such the resulting mixture of coffee and condensed milk was very frothy. And as he poured it into his ice-filled glass, Alphonse finally spoke.

“What do you have in mind?”

“Very simple really. Asides from cancelling all your debts, you will have all the funding that you would ever need. And in addition you would still be able to tinker with your unit when needed.” Marcus spoke before he sipped from his coffee. He then set the cup down and looked at the two Frenchmen with a look that even made the sanest of people rage- let’s say he was exercising his inner incubator demon.

“So... shall we make the contract then? ( ◕‿‿◕ )”


Let’s say that the two Frenchmen could not resist.

Two weeks later, Manila.

In one of the many gated subdivisions of the city- a place where the Silver and Gold-spooned people live, Miguel Allandari Zobel-Lopez-Tan, current head of the Zobel-Lopez-Tan Clan, was currently in his office room. Being the head of a Corporate Complex was a demanded job, which sometimes needed the hours of the home to complete. He had just completed all the work he needed to do when the doorbell rang- which was promptly answered by the House Guard.

“Sir, it’s Boss Marcus.”

“Let him in.”

Moments later Miguel welcomed his cousin Marcus.

“Brother!”

“Well that’s me.”

“It’s been a while. What have you been up to?” Miguel asked as he led him into the living room.

“Wheeling and dealing. And getting things- and speaking of which, I got something for Elena’s Birthday tomorrow.” Marcus spoke as he sat down.

“Oh really? and what that could be?”

“You don’t need to know for now- but then it’s about to arrive right about...”

The doorbell again rang, followed by the guard’s voice.

“Sir, it a delivery truck looking for Boss Marcus.”

“Let it in.” Both cousins replied.

They then went to where the truck parked. The driver and the two helpers were already opening the back of the truck as they approached. The driver then walked towards the two and presented his tablet with the job order.

“Here you go Mr. Zobel, one special package. We assure that nothing happened to it.”

“Thank you.” Marcus replied as he signed the order and gave a rather thick wad of cash. “And there you go- enough for the job and some extra.”

“Really? Why thank you sir. This package sure means a lot to you.”

“It’s my niece’s birthday present.”

“You rich people have it nice.”

“On the contrary. We need to work at even harder things or else we fall even harder.”

“Okay then... where do we place this?”

“Brother?” Marcus then turned to Miguel.

“In the Garden- in the middle of it. And be careful not to disturb the decorations and the caterers.”

And so they began to offload the huge crate, moving it to the garden where preparations for the birthday party are under way. And while that was happening, the two cousins went back into the house.

“Soooo...” Miguel then started to ask. “What is in that anyway?”

“Not telling until tomorrow- when Elena opens it.”

“But...”

“Trust meeeeee...” Marcus’ reply came in, with the same face he used on the Frenchment two weeks back.

“Stop that, it’s creepy.”

And once again, the doorbell rang, this time, there was no report from the Guard- indicating only one of two things, the matron of the house or...

“Maria!” Marcus exclaimed as his cousin’s daughter came in the door and into the living room. “How is my little niece?”

“Uncle Marc... as always I am fine.” Elena Allandari Zobel-Lopez-Tan, the second child of the house replied and exchanged pleasantries with her uncle. “Where have you been, Vietnam again?”

“Yup, and I got a present for you.”

“Really? can I go open it?”

“NO!” both adult males called out.

“Eeeh, I’ve already opened the gifts I had from my friends and classmate, why not yours?”

“It’s a very special present that even your father here does not know- or anyone in the house for that matter. But tomorrow... you will get to open it.”

“Are you sure about that?”

“Yes now go and do whatever school matters needed to be done- and don’t even try to open it, it has a lock that only i know the code.”

And as the child went upstairs, Marcus turned to his cousin.

“Miguel, we need to talk about something that concerns Elena.”

“And that would be?”

“Her future educational prospect. I have the perfect plan.”

In the Office, Marcus then told Miguel of what he had in mind.

“The IS Academy? I would never agree to that!” Miguel’s somewhat furious tone came out, the room barely containing it. “That loss against Estevez a month a go-”

“-Proved to you that she was a failure. Yeah right.” Marcus Sarcastically continued. “That’s a mouthful of crap. You’re obsession over getting the top is now slowly eating at you and making think irrationally- heck you gave Marconi another chance after he got magna instead of summa cum laude at his graduation.”

“But he’s...”

“You son, the one that will carry your name... I know. And with that crap of a bias, your daughter would have started on the rebel path- it’s just luck that she never changed despite what you did to her after the Representation Exam.”

“But she humiliated her entire family on national TV. That’s different from mere failing of expectations. Especially losing to some coun-”

“-try bumkin. I KNOW AND IT’S FULL OF CRAP AGAIN. You seriously need to get your brain checked- I mean, have you even thought of what could happen if Elena did get the position?” Marcus retorted. “Let me guess... ‘I have not thought about it’, right?”

Miguel could only nod at that.

“Well If you remember correctly, the Representative is also considered a public official- and that would mean a very huge conflict of interest. And besides, rumors were flying Elena bought her way thru the selection- despite the fact that she did not- which was very brave of her. If she had won, the pressure would be so unbearable that she would need to give the position to Estevez anyway. And I’ve also heard that you were about to “call up a solution”- and I was really, should we say, horrified that you would do such a thing. Even if you did managed to do it, the trail would lead back to you and you would be put down- and the people would want your head- as they are no longer afraid of high-class people such as ourselves- remember what happened to your former friend Perez after people found out what he did.”

Miguel simply sweated as his cousin continued.

“Basically, you need to give her another chance. Let’s say that we need to do some attrition- and be cool and good about it.”

“What do you have in mind?”

“You will know soon enough.”

At night the next day, it was Elena’s 16th birthday party. The garden was filled with friends and classmates of the celebrant, as well as personalities from showbiz, business and politics, as well as some family members who managed to make it despite their busy schedules. And after the pleasantries were dealt with, it was time to open the presents- which Elena went thru one by one- and soon, the large crate was the only thing remaining. Cue in Marcus and his microphone.

“And now for the Main Event... and I know everyone is dying to know what is inside the box that I had shipped in all the way from Vietnam- and just to let you know, it is not related to elephants or even the temples over there- those things will end me up in jail if i ever do so.”

Everyone chuckled at that introduction. An assistant then came forward and gave Marcus a ribbon-wrapped crowbar. He then motioned for his niece to get the said crowbar from him- which she did. She then placed herself before the crate and looked around- it seems that the lock he mentioned was not there- meaning that she had been had yesterday- but none the matter, as Marcus once again spoke.

“Okay then. Open it.”

And with baited anticipation from the guests and fervor from the child, the opening of the crate began. Only Marcus had no feeling of nervousness or anticipation- for he knew what was in the crate. And as the gaps became wider, one could make out a slight bluish gleam from within the darkness. And then, with a couple more swings from the crowbar, the crate had disintegrated, leaving behind the one thing that could further shock our Birthday Celebrant, and her father for that reason.

“Is that...”

“Yup... Meet Metatron, your daughter’s personal IS.”

Now let me see where i should focus next.

Ok, after Saint X's suing, I will try to update the OC list tommorow when i wake up, other than that, enjoy my chapter 5 teaser (fixed some of the stuff in chapter 4, notably some grammar stuff)

And now... teaser... THE KILLER MOVES IN

Spoiler for Little Excerpt From Chapter 5:

Pain. I felt pain into my body. Being flung around by those unmanned drones wasn't the most pleasant of activities, needless to say.

Everything seemed desperate. I watched as three of the five drones overpowered Houki, Cecilia and Rin. No matter what they did, they were unable to match the new patterns our attackers seemed to display... these units, they had adapted themselves to our strategies.

The first one that had been sent against me and Rin was just a probe.

The IS that had just punched me walked up to me, its arm cannons charging up, as if to deliver the finishing blow.
Was it already over?

No, it couldn't end like that. Right now, right here, I had to live. But how?!
I tried moving. Byakushiki responded, but the searing pain that I kept feeling stopped me from being too mobile. I had to dodge that shot. Yet my muscles were refusing to move.

"Come on, move, move MOVE!" I cried out to myself, wishing that it would make a difference.

My muscles weren't responsive. I wasn't going to survive the shot.
The unmanned IS fire its laser towards me.

I watched as this pink light that symbolized death was blasted at me, awaiting for a miracle to happen.
Houki's, Rin's, Cecilia's and Charlotte's voices could be heard, calling out to me, imploring me to dodge.
I wished I could, my body just wouldn't respond.

Was it the end?

"GOD DAMN IT ICHIKA!!" someone else shouted.

Alex-san, who I thought had been knocked out earlier, threw himself in front of me to block the shot.

Speechless, not knowing what to do, I watched as his IS was engulfed into an explosion.
He vanished into a cloud of smoke and debris. My radar lost him as well.

We had just lost Alex Hikari.

Enraged at what had just happened, my muscles fueled by the anger and hatred that I felt towards those lifeless machines that had just taken away one of my classmate's life, I charged at the IS responsible for this crime while shouting out as loud as I could, and as violently as possible.

"WHY YOU BASTARD!!!"

I had to dispatch that thing now, before it took more lives away.

Before I could close in though, the IS had already armed another shot though, and was about to fire it directly at me.
I had been foolish, I was weakned, and it was too late to change directions.
In a last ditch effort to survive, I activated my wings' brakes and tried to turn away to dodge the incoming fire, but due to my injuries, the process was too slow.

Shielding myself with Byakushiki's hands as to not take the brunt of the blast (even though if this would've probably killed me), I closed my eyes, preferring not to see what would happen.

The sound of an energy weapon piercing through the air resounded across the arena.

An IS fell down to the ground.


It wasn't mine
It was the drone that was about to kill me.

I had been saved again, but by who? All the other girls were immobilized by the four other unmanned drones. Who had done that?

I had a quick glance around, for some moment, not seeing anything, but then, my radar caught a small blip for a fraction of second.

I turned my eyes towards that direction, and there, I saw it, only for a few seconds, bu I saw it. The nearly invisible silhouette of something that looked like a fully armored IS, colored in white and red, with a creepy teal light emanating from its eyes.

The drones detected it as well, quickly focusing all their firepower on my mysterious savior to destroy him.
However, they touched nothing apart thin air. The IS had already vanished and disappeared completely.


Yet I had the feeling that this 'thing' was still near.

The gender which had ruled since the beginning of mankind, had suddenly fallen from its throne.

...Or so people thought.

IS Academy, the world's only IS pilot training school. Students from all over the world gather here to study and become IS pilots.
For 3 years, people from different countries work to improve their skills.
And now, he'll be enrolling in it...

*yaaaaaaaaawn* Orimura Ichika lets out as he walks, still sleepy after having to wake up early to catch the train.

He wasn't in the best of moods. His dream of a normal and peaceful high school life went down the drain when he activated an 'IS' by accident.
After that the news spread like wildfire, quickly the whole world found out about him.
To make things worse, his older sister Chifuyu was the one that enrolled him into IS Academy...even if she hadn't, the government would do it instead.
And so, he is the first male student to step into this school.

With a sigh, Ichika's shoulders slump. Rummaging through his pockets, he pulls out a piece of paper with a map drawn, a mad of the academy.
"Let's see...first year's building." He checked the map then looked around.

Up ahead were a group of buildings, each marked with 1, 2 and 3, no doubt that those are the ones.
"Hm?" As Ichika headed to the 1st year's building, he quickly noticed that there was someone standing at the front door.

By her clothes, she was a student. Dark, long hair, her arms folded across her chest and...short, very short. Making her look like she should be in middle school.
The girl, also noticing Ichika, waited for him to be close enough to speak.

"So, you came after all." she frowned.
"Huh?" Ichika blinked, "Do I know you?"
"No, and let's keep it that way." The girl continued to stare at him, with a glare that could pierce through rock.
"U-Uh..." Ichika felt the sweat run down his face, was it the sun? or the tension? Maybe even both...

"No need to exchange names, because you're going to turn around and go back from where you came from!" She unfolded her arms and charged at him.
"Wha-!?" Ichika flinched at the sudden hostility, simultaneously dodging an also sudden roundhouse kick out of luck.
"Tch." She clicked her tongue, but continued to attack, this time aiming low.
"Wait a--uwa!" His right leg is swept off the floor, made him lose his balance and fall on his butt.
"Oww--eh?!" Not giving him time to recover, the girl now had her leg risen up to shoulder level, ready to drop on him. Also, it revealed the bike shorts under her skirt.
Ichika still managed to avoid it by rolling out of the way, a loud slam followed.

With a little distance between them, Ichika should have taken the chance and run away but instead he looked at the girl, she was still glaring at him but now with small tears on the corner of her eyes.
"I-it must've hurt..." He commented.
"Y-you!" She snarled, her canines showing.
Ichika felt a chill down his spine, and now thought it would be wise to run. So he did.
"Wait you coward!" She gave chase.

Still unfamiliar with the school, Ichika randomly ran around with hope of meeting someone...with no luck.
"What is it with you? What did I do?" He asks as he continues to run, then looked over his shouled, "Wha--Fast!" He says, surprised at how fast she caught up.
"This school is a sacred ground for maidens only! Your mere presence here will disturb the peace and corrupt it!"
"What kind of answer is that?!" Ichika pushed himself to run faster...but the lack of club activities in the last years had softened him.

After a cat and mouse chase around the buildings Ichika runs to towards the tracks, the girl catches him and the chase is comes to an end.
"Oof!" Ichika was face down on the dirt, with a foot on his back, keeping him down.
"Choosing the tracks was a bad move." She says.
"W-what are you? Track and field member or something?"
"None of your business." She continued to look down on him. "Leave and don't come back. This school isn't for the likes of you!"
"What did I do to you? Why chase me around school just to get me to leave?" Ichika asked as he looked up at her.

The girl's left eye twitched, "Because you're male, that's why."
"Eh? What kind of reason is that?!"
"Enough of a reason for me! To think a male can pilot an 'IS'...it's nonsense! And on top of that---" She applied more pressure with her foot.
"You just had to have the same face as 'that man' who stole Onee-chan from me!" She starts grinding her foot on Ichika's back.
"Owowow! Don't just redirect your anger onto me!" He raised his voice.

That time, a voice was heard from the edges of the field, "Hey, what are you two doing there?"
"Tch, a teacher." The girl clicked her tongue, then released Ichika.
"Ow..." He rubbed his back, "Are you trying to open a hole on my back or s--wah!" Ichika is grabbed by the collar of his uniform, his face less than an inch away from her's.
"This isn't over." Her gold colored eyes stared at him, "I'll let you go for now, but remember this: I will never accept you!"
Letting go of him, the girl makes a run for it before the teacher gets too close.

Dusting off the dirt from his uniform, Ichika looks at her go, running at a speed that is surely at prefecture record level.
"What a strange girl." He comments in a low voice. "Hmm?" He notices something shining on the ground.
"Student ID?" He says after picking it up.
The card was brand new, and on it was the photo as well as the student's full name "Amamiya Fuuko...1s year?! For someone speaking so arrogantly, I thought she was a 2nd year..."

At the time, Orimura Ichika still didn't know what was reserved for him in the near future...

That's it.

But yeah, the voice range is more of a Hiiragi Kagami than Kyuubey...though, sometimes I can't help imagining her voiced by Kugimiya Rie (Taiga), or even Itou Kanae (Saten Ruiko, or Nana Deviluke)

I was thinking of a possible event where the "tsundere" club unites and discusses about some of their issues with their violent side (Add Houki to the party)...

Hilarity ensues when they decided to use what they learned from each on their respective affections?

Or worse, we get the Tsunderes... *drunk*... Oh wait, it's forbidden by ethical standards... but it would be an interesting experiment.

Does Fuuko stand in as a competitor for Houki's already godlike rise to compete with Spinzaku?

Karon is not so much an actual tsundere, she's more towards the yan/sado side, like Rin is. Right now, she's has no time for love. Career comes first. Her actions have been leaning towards denial not for the same reasons as the others, that's why I don't consider her tsundere. After all, if given the chance, she'd be rather open. In fact, I'm still tossing up whether the two of them are already going out but put on hold because of ISA and Gladiator matters.

Not sure about the last part, Fuuko certainly isn't kicking Max any time soon.

The recommended sitting arrangement at the Academy was according to Japanese phonetics. However, that was a foreign concept to Class 1-2, which had the largest number of transfer students and overseas scholars on campus. Even the homeroom teachers were ‘gaijin’. Thus, seating had been free and easy, with the teachers’ records updated in time for homeroom.

That also meant there was no discernable pattern for Marvelous-sensei to just shout a name and pass on the spotlight. At least, there was a touchscreen under his nose and Maximillan hit a button. The backboard behind him reacted, naming the student sitting in the far left of the foremost row. That silenced the class instantly.

“H-How about we carry on with...” Maximillan croaked sheepishly. “...Smith?”

“Yes,” Alice blurted curtly and stood up. “I am Alice Smith, a US representative candidate.”

And she sat down.

“Er...” Maximillan sweatdropped. “Anything else...?”

The young Smith kept up her disinterested gaze. “You did not mention any other details about yourself, Marvel-sensei.”

There were a few chuckles working its way around. Max bristled.

“Pardon the mistake! I couldn’t get a word in edgewise with all that noise...” He hurriedly backpedaled. “Name is as you’ve all seen,and I’m not very proud of it. I would prefer to be addressed as Maximillan or just Max. And not as though I am the boss of Stan Lee.”

“I come from the lunar colony Metro-3, and my work is my hobby. I’m sure we all love IS?”

There were a few nods.

“Same for me. I started working on robots when I was younger, then moved on to IS cores. It is... an honor to have been invited to join the teaching staff here at ISA, and to be immediately assigned a home class.”

“Frankly, I’m still catching my breath.” He shrugged. “So please, go easy on me.”

Now a hand shot up in the crowd. From the viewscreen, it belonged to... one Catherine O’Donell.

“Yes, Catherine?” Max, feeling that he was getting a handle on things, said in the nicest, ‘teacherly’ tone he could muster.

O’Donell went straight for the kill. “Do you have a girlfriend?”

His eyes widened for a second, and he remembered to clamp his jaws shut. It wasn’t a surprise question -after the earlier ruckus, he had suspected someone would soon come up with it. But the answer was harder coming than he had expected...

“No, Max-nii-chan doesn’t!” chirped a little voice at the end of the room.

A wave of heads turning towards the back row rolled as Max turned pale. Just what are you planning, Kha?!

“Max-nii-chan went to a boys school, so he’s been very excited about becoming our teacher!” Karon continued, beaming.

No such thing!! Max screamed inside as half of the girls exploded into activity again. This time, Browning rapped on the board, prompting silence.

The Marvelous Teacher heaved a breath of dejection, knowing that the peaceful days he longed for will never come. “Smith, all your’s...”

“Well then,” Alice panned. “I am from Los Angeles, and I like burgers.”

Maximillan paused and waited... Smith kept on eyeballing... then Max gave up.

“Next...” Another name replaced Alice’s. “Teo Jinyu?”

“Present~” The next student in the second row sang as she stood up. “You can call me Tio Ginjyo, its the Japanese approximation.”

“Duly noted,” Maximillan nodded, relaxing now that a proper student had appeared.

“I am from Singapore Metropolis the Third,” Gin spoke with gentle regal. “Or Metro-3, like we usually call it. I like sweet things, tea time and I really hope to do a lot of fun things with everyone.”

Her radiant expression and flawless demeanor certainly had a lot going for her.

“Tio...” echoed a voice in the far corner. “Could you be Tio Chisien’s daughter?!”

“Eh...” Gin replied shyly.

“The Grand Admiral of the Singapore Navy?!” cried another student. “That means, you’re a real princess!”

“Er...” Ginjyo put forward humbly. “It’s not that grand... I only hope to be your friend, as equals.”

She gave a small bow to raptuous applause. “Please guide me!”

“I’m sure we all will,” Max added. He then noticed in the seat beside Gin was a little mop of blue, topped off with black cat ear implements. Her body heaved slowly to her breathing, oblivious to the din that had been rumbling till then. The teacher was about to point it out when Gin intervened.

“This is Helena de Wolf. She just got here this morning so she hasn’t had much sleep...”

Max waved it on and pushed the next person up. [Amamiya Fuuko] appeared on the board.

“Che,” tsked the angry redhead seated behind Gin.

Che?! Maximillan thought.

“Ah, what a drag,” Fuuko chained, arms as crossed as she was. “I’m obviously from Japan and I feel sorry that men have invaded the sacred grounds of ISA. You’d think that after IS was invented that they would get a hint? But nooo they keep on popping up.”

“It grosses me out just to think of what they might be after...” She finished with tongue stuck out.

I’m sorry to have ruined your yuri fantasies... Marvelous griped mentally as he bumped the next person up. “Erika Weber?”

“Er-yes!” Weber sprang up as stiff as a board at her name being called. “I-I-I’m from Germany... and... um... nice to meet everyone... um... I... I like...”

Amid the awkward pause, Max tried a soft, rolling gesture to keep her going. Somewhere inside, he began noticing that all the girls seemed to be following some kind of invisible moe archetype checklist in the sky. What kind of joke was God playing?

“You like...?” chimed someone out of view.

“I... I LIKE COOKING!” Weber blurted out and hurriedly sat down, head bowed to hide her red face as whispers praising her advanced domestication bounced around.

She even sounds like Momo... Maximillan thought absent-mindedly. “Kamijyou-chan?”

Wait why did I just sound like a loli school teacher?!

“What’s with the ‘-chan’, Teacher?” the girl in male uniform said as she got up. “I’m not a softie, you know.”

“Apologies, it just sort of flowed...” Yeah, sort of.

“Well then, I’ve been preparing for this moment...” Yuu sucked in a breath, then yelled, “My name is Yuu! Kamijyou Yuu!”

And she posed, partially summoning an IS-type katana. “The sword that cleaves aliens!”

“As expected of the counter alien... something.”
“CASIO, it’s CASIO.”

“It’s CA-SaI-O!” Yuu protested as her blade vanished. “There’s a big difference!!”

“Yes, yes...”

They moved on to the next name. “Huang Lingyi?”

All eyes were on the blank seat in front of the second row.

“She’s absent?” Max asked.

“Oh yeah, that girl,” Browning cut in. “The Commies rang this morning saying that their representative got delayed because of her personal unit was still being tuned.”

“Sounds like quite a hassle, these personal units,” Marvelous concluded.

“Don’t worry about her,” Rachel waved him on. “She’ll be arriving tomorrow morning.”

“Super... Someone with an actual personal IS!!”
“She should be our Class Rep! Then we can go against Class 1-1’s Brittainian!”

“I don’t think we should decide that behind another person’s back...” Max added.

“I’m in favor of that suggestion,” Browning closed. “It is tactically sound. We can put it down to the price to pay for missing 1 day of school.”

"If you say so..." Max moved on to the sleeping Wolfe. "Could somebody wake her?"

"I... do not think that would be wise..." Gin replied nervously.

"Ah there's no need to be shy about this, she's been knocked out long enough."

Marvelous scooted over, prompting Tio to jump out of her seat. Before anyone else could process what was happening, the boy had his hand on the sleepyhead's shoulder.

"Say, wake up, Wol--"

There was a blue whirlwind, then Max found himself somersaulting through the air. The class was silenced by Helena's erect form in a last stance of a judo throw, only to be interrupted by the crash and clatter of Maximillan returning to earth.

"I tried to warn you, Teacher..." Gin added in sympathy. "Helena has a rather violent reflex..."

Helena flopped back down, dreaming of beef jerkys as though nothing had happened.

"This class... will be the death of me..." were the silver boy's last words.

There was a blue whirlwind, then Max found himself somersaulting through the air. The class was silenced by Helena's erect form in a last stance of a judo throw, only to be interrupted by the crash and clatter of Maximillan returning to earth.

"I tried to warn you, Teacher..." Gin added in sympathy. "Helena has a rather violent reflex..."

Helena flopped back down, dreaming of beef jerkys as though nothing had happened.

"This class... will be the death of me..." were the silver boy's last words.

Ok, hope we're set... on a side note, I couldn't find my own comment on a certain IS hilarious...

Jong-i Hak (종이학) / Jyun Kari - Korean developped IS with an emphasis on melee. Has the peculiar ability of being able to go through most shields... with what seems like wooden rod. Effectiveness is unknown, damage might range from a bruise to a cut off limb.

I was more thinking along the lines of THIS or THIS, but the Mega Man X Alien expy looks nice as well. XD
