Why does everyone always have to get intricate and detailed about things they like and don't like? Why can't it just be black and white? I love this episode. I hate this episode. I for one think that the writers and animators are doing an incredible job on this show. Considering all the hords of crap anime that have been shown for the past few seasons, I think this anime is a goldmine. It may not be perfect, but it keeps you glued to the screen

Good observation, I noticed that too. Though obviously, the Turn 1 was the most apparent in that manner.

some things i find weird =p
1. how did lelouch know that he have to record the vid and count in his heart when he is confronting Rolo? He wouldnt expect him to have geass anyway.

2. the plan for saving ougi-tachi is rather reckless, Zero certainly created a miracle that the vehicle that ougi-tachi was on could had toppled up or tank could have crashed into them.

3. Whos lord kimmel? Someone else whos suppose to pilot the Vincent?

4. added - Rolo should have known that Lelouch require eye contact to use geass and yet he allowed Lelouch to turn and face him eye-eye =-=That so careless of Rolo. Not only that, why did Lelouch go through all the trouble to convince him when he can just geass Rolo up. it not like the pride or whatever shit is there as Rolo aint Suzaku.

Feeling rather sorry for Rolo now though.

He had a little time to read Rolo's file before Rolo get in.

Yes. Rolo robbed it and faked his voice when answering to Guilford.

I guess Rolo has the confidence to freeze Lelouch with his geass before he can finish saying his order. His geass basically takes no time to activate, unlike Lelouch's which requires finishing the line and red bird flying out and blahblahblah.
Or he can just simply look away. Lelouch's geass is easy to avoid once knowing the limitation of it.
If Lelouch is planning on using him for long term, it's better to not geass him. Things like "obey my every order forever" is against his moral. Complicated terms (like the ones he gave to the sniper Glaston Knight) is too risky, since you can't come up with every possible situation, and any miss can be deadly. It's safer to keep him loyal without geass, then geass when really necessary.
