Hey guys, I'm brand new here. I'm a big fan of the obstacle course show SASUKE in Japan, and I'm working on a project to gather as much of the background music they use as possible. Most of their background music is from Anime shows, so I was wondering if you guys could help me out.

The link below is to an audio clip I ripped from the broadcast. (That's why there's narration in the background). Hopefully someone here will recognize it from an anime. If you do know what it's from, please let me know! I'd love to put it on my iPod as well, its a pretty epic piece!

the 1st is from Sengoku Basara, 4th from Gravitation, 6th from Casshen movie and 7th from Cyborg 009.

This leaves me w/ 3 songs left to identify, and I also added a new one as well. Could someone help me with any of these 4 songs? Thanks:

Woo something that I know, first one on that new video is from Haruhi Suzumiya called "Koi no Mikuru Densetsu"(Mikuru Legend of Love). Its from the orcherstra album.

Sadly thats all i know.

I was hoping to get a little help in identifying a song --

-- I've had in my playlist for going on ten years now. I have a strong suspision that it is anime related (and, if I had to take a guess, I'd say that it was from the Saber Marionette series, since I downloaded a bunch of songs from that back in the days of yore before Napster was shut down [yes, we are talking about ancient history here]), but know nothing about the song other than that.

Normally, I'd be perfectly fine with not knowing where it's from, but the file seems to be damaged in some way (it's kind of chippy when it plays). So while it's no pleasure to listen to in its current state, I've never removed it from the list, hoping one day to discover its identity so I could go download a replacement.

Following an afternoon yesterday of fruitlessly searching youtube for a matching tune, I've decided to turn to some real authorities on the matter, and have journeyed here.

Thank you for any and all help.

Hey guys I this may be a bit of an akward first post but was wondering if any of you could name other anime songs that sound like the first few seconds of 'A Cruel Angel's Thesis'.

I heard of a song that sounded -somewhat- similar to the first 7 seconds of the song and it sounded amazing. It had more syllables in that short period of similarity (around 13 from what I recall). I've been search for it ever since I heard it through youtube and it's been a few days without success

. If anyone here has any idea please let me know!

I don't know if this will click with you but try Just Communication by Two-mix. It's from the Gundam Wing series and it sort of has the same feel it.

Unfortunately that's not the song I heard in the past but it does strike a cord with me.

The song I'm search for starts almost exactly like cruel angel thesis except for a 2 note difference in the first line or so. The title was also only in Japanese and was fairly long (or at least not easy to memorize).

I really wish I bookmarked the lyrics for it.
