Are you talking about the Nogami Takeshi doujinshi? I think they're my favorite incarnation of the entire series (Although I still love the second anime season).

Plus they're already translated into English, with a bilingual release, and easy to import on MangaPal or Amazon.co.jp.

This could explain things, I guess what's confusing for me is I associated the girl using the pec deck in my memory with a girl who fights with a sword because I remembered visualizing how the chest muscles could be used in sword fighting. I also remembered that the girl using the pec deck was large-endowed. This is why Sakamoto came to mind.

In spite of Sky Girls seeming more likely, the main character who uses a sword I thought had a small chest and wasn't a tsundere leader...

Or maybe another also used a sword? I should rewatch Sky Girls I guess. I will find that pec deck scene.

Actually, pure Israeli drawn~ (yes, Israel has anime fans. You should see that video from an Israeli convention with all the Touhou cosplayers...and, er, crossplayers...Flan ;_
Years later, I suddenly run into this!
Being the person who drew that Beurling, I'm flattered.
[btw I'm Suika in that cast... wow it's been a long time]

It's not out on Blu-Ray yet, and probably won't be till the end of the year or later.
