Pokemon (Pocket Monsters)
 "Pokemon Getto Daze!" 'ello everyone! Welcome to the Pokemon thread of Animesuki! Join in discussions of the 10 year running anime and have fun! Talk about the voice actors that made it come alive, the episodes/movies, and the singers of the opening and ending themes. And be sure to put spoiler tags when you're talking about the latest Japanese episodes.  "STAGE ON!" Currently there are 508 episodes of Pokemon as of today (7/19) and it reached it's tenth birthday on April 1st, 2007. There are three series, "Pokemon (Indigo - Jouto), Advance Generation (Hoenn - Kanto Battle Frontier), and the latest, Diamond and Pearl (Shinou)". Movie 10 was just released (7/14) and is number 1 in the Japan box office.  "Daijoubu Daijoubu!" My favorite character is Satoshi/Ash, I just really love him. He's just so sweet and caring to his friends, mom, and his pokemon. It's hard not to love him unless they hate these attributes. Also, my favorite Pokemon is none other than Pikachu. It's just so cute and cuddly..well if it's not angry or evil. I've watch the anime since it first appeared on KidsWB and still continue to watch it through CN and from other sites. So I declare this topic open! DISCUSS and..POKEMON GETTO DAZE!

meh pikachu is a "thing" that walks and says pika...PIKA PIKA PIKA....aaww god that gets annoying....if i had a pikachu..:
me:"what did u say pikachu?" pikachu:"pika pika pika!" me:"what? u wanna get run over by a car?" pikachu:"PIKA PIKA!!!" *gets run over by a car* HOW THE HELL CAN THEY UNDERSTAND THAT "language"....and togepi...WTF IS A TOGEPI? its a fuckin talkin egg.....seriously....who would keep a talking egg? wouldnt u go "WTF IS THIS?!?!" or try to open the damn thing? and i would open it and see whats inside... and pokemon doesnt show the "other things" about pokemon we should know: - pokemon gone bad(biting killing etc) - EATING pokemon - where did they come from?(i wouldnt think they came with gods creations :P .RADIATION...) aaww wonder how those fire pokemon would taste  my initial thoughts lol.... :fingers: |

Pokemon...It is completely repetitive, and now in the newest episodes of Pokemon(when there in the HOEN region) Ash suppose to be a pro but he still acts like a dumbass.
Here's how about every episode goes, then later on watch the show and you'll notice how freak'in repetitive this show can get: -Ash and friends are walking someplace then.. -They either get hungry and want food or... -Meet a person that needs help or... -It's a gym/tournament battle then.. -They talk to the person and try to solve there problem or... -Ash is battling someone or... -Team Rocket is making a foolproof plan(lol) to capture pikachu or the pokemon of the person that Ash met in this episode or... -Team Rocket is just trying to get food themselves then.. -Team Rocket shows up to fight and either Ash blasts them off or the person they met in this episode blasts them off. then.. They get all happy and the episode ends Well, do you guys want to hear the biggest surprise of the millenium? I like to watch Pokemon! I can't get enough of the humor, even if it is repetitive, and ash is a dumbass, I think it's really funny. Oh yeah, Pikachu is an electric mouse. |

Pikachu is *ACTUALLY* a Nintendo Customer Service worker that accidentally answered an email without a cryptic response. Death was too good for him, so they shackled him inside the carcass of a rat, spraypainted it yellow, and brainwashed him so that he has full concious thought, but can only say "Pikachu".

New pokemon License's
So you think theres a small chance they might start relaseign the sub on DVD?
I mean CCS made it otu to dvd in a sub only format,I think..anyway its a thought I love digimon more but it would be nice to see anime geting alil respect in the states.... |

their are palns for a 9th season for pokemon so its still going,altho I am more intrested in just haveing in the states in a uncut state,I guess like Megaman NT/Axess and other programs that geting raped to death in the states fan subs are the only way to go,i like buying up cheap used dvd sets and then finding and keeping the fan subs of the show I paid for the dubs so they cant complain about the fan subs *L* |

I see my post was moved,but thats ok ^^
Pokemon is ok but it just gets repetive >< Digimon dosent thats why I love it more,I was wondering if pokemon might get a sub set released but it seems it wont not for at least 4+ years *L* |
