I like the top and bottom ones. Really sharp.

Ever try doing the traces in shape layers? Not sure if you use photoshop or something else, but to me anyways, they give a nicer look than just straight paths.

Great stuff all around, I wish I could draw that well.

I use both Ai and PS.... and others but you mean like tracing the lines with shape instead of a 1px stoke? NO WAI that takes hella long, buy my a tablet will ya?

I find it a bit quicker actually, cause if you ever screw something up you can make the adjustments with the transform point tool.
Heres one taht I did with shape layers. Im not that good at tracing, i dont do it very often. So im not gloating my work, but its just a quickie example. Shape layers give a nice appearance on the hair imo.
Spoiler for trace:

Tracing really is person specific. I tried it with regular lines, but never really liked the result that much, except when I traced a NHL jersey on a Haruhi pic, that one looked not bad. Just something to try if you have a little time, I find that once you get used to shape layers, they can go just as quick as paths.

Oh and the tablet is in the mail

You can screw up in tracing? .....WAAAAAAAAAAAAA? Umm yea Shape layer does improve the quality of the line art but, you have to take twice as long. And twice as long is just not in my timeline. How are you doing your path one to get to be as fast as shape layer?? There simple no way is there? In shape you have to go around ()- two path. In simple line stroke |- one path. Well depends on which program you use, since Photoshop doesn't work that way with line stroke, I can simply open a path without closing it and get simple line.

You do have to go around twice, but it really isnt much different. you just back along the same path and add anchors at around the same points than break out the transform points tool and bend it to what you need.

You just kinda get fast at it, you know what your doing, not as much fiddling or experimenting. I dunno. It just something to consider. I personally like the shape layers for line art, it really improves the look.

But again, time constraints get the better of us all of most cases. Like how I should be studying for my final but instead am posting

I actually started Photoshop quite sometime ago, I think I am pretty experienced in several software. SIGH I SHALL START A DONATION BOX

DONATION BOX
---------------------

Help Setsi get her tablet, young and old fellows out there.
Goal- Cintiq21UX $2499.00. *SETSI WILL THANK YOU (Not with her body)

---------------------------------------

Alice-Chan (About Udon/Tewi, sigh it didn't go my way. Udon's hair is quite like Kaguya which isn't my style, and Tewi's hair is just plain a mess. Well I am not quite good with hair still.)

Spoiler for SPACE:

Not been vector, the clothes/body looks weird, I know but it can't be helped it since it was like a two minute sketch. I will try to get it vectored by tomorrow, hopefully I can at least try adding color. Anyone want to volunteer vectoring it, I WILL THANK YOU WITH MY LIFE. If there is anyone I will try to get sharper lines, I have it kind of sketchy all because I know exactly how it should go so I just left it sketchy. Also the eye isn't like the one done in Remilia's because I thought I try something new. I guess I am improving, or improved over my first drawing which was done like 2 week ago.

------------------------------------

My Rant about pencil:
Pencil sucks, it really sucks, pisses me off a whole lot. The point gets dull in two stokes, eraser fell off, can't find eraser, eraser was in my pocket, damn pencil. Damn pencil really, pencil phails, pencil phails, pencil phails a whole lot.

^ Haha I understand XD. When i draw my anime pictures, I always complain about my pencils and erasers being so low when I go to school. They are like super short right now.

Anyways, your new Alice picture looks good. I think it okay without vectoring (if you were planning to do that). It would be too hard to get all of those fancy details in the pic.

I just realized it is impossible to do vector it in color, it lacks so many element of shading.

Spoiler for a:

Did a clearer version. I am probably not going to vector this cause it going to take forever.

edit: I don't recommend you try vectoring it, since it is actually quite hard if you didn't draw the drawing itself.

Wow looks good(Actually too good), but can I have the psd file for some rearrangement? Some arrangement like the eyes and hair as well as a little on the cloth.

That looks much better now. I know what you mean by having to have drawn it to be able to determine whats what. You should get on colouring it now

Your best one so far. You oughta clean it up and define the lines a bit more.
