Nope, they capture specific band of light instead, that's why the lens turned green/red.

Some of them, maybe, Orimura family is the front candidate. Maybe Charles too. However that's where emotional support came from.

That's why it's night-vision BINOCULAR, not some kind of stylized cool glasses, the design allowed it to minimize the reflection. Military is always about compromise between pros and cons.

Nope, that's why you have to break the window first completely before jumped out, I was taught this at disaster survival training :3

Even hardened soldiers get PTSD. It's not possible to ignore it unless you have no emotions.

How hard is it to break glass? Can you really just punch it?

Mind you soldier started as normal human most of the time, that's why child soldier is either ax crazy or totally emotionless, they simply has no way to understand and compare. They don't lack PTSD, they simply don't understand how to react properly.

Martial arts can punch through glass easily, there's no guarantee about safety however. The problem is not the hardness but the sharp edges. In my training, we're simulating how to use heavy object (such as chair or fire extinguisher) to bludgeon and break a glass.
