nah still none as far as I can find out anyway.

Ep was awesome, everything from major's speech to the fight at the end. I like that they noticed Schroedinger's body disappeared, I don't think they really showed that in the manga.

need to get me a pic of Alucard holding Rip's gun at the end there, would make an awesome desktop imo.

I absolutely love the Hellsing OVA's. They are just utter amazement.
I loved the first fight between Alucard and Anderson. This series also sticks much closer to the Manga unlike the other series, which is pretty cool.
Alucards entrance on the first one was also awesome. XD

On OVA 4...

SAKAMOTO MAAYA AS RIP VAN WINKLE????

Then again, no wonder. Sakamoto-san actually sang Rip's parts of the opera....

One of the better scenes in this episode (pity about the quality, best I could find to work with was from <certain streaming streaming>)

couple avatars.

Spoiler for for full size:

Click for subs.

(haven't read the manga)
The moment they sent Alucard out to the ship, I was expecting the Nazis to blow it up with some sort of big bomb once he landed, thus dumping our favorite homocidal maniac into the deep blue.

Why didn't they just use torpedoes or something? Take too long? Didn't seem like the ship was really doing anything for the time being...

Oh awesome thx! I actually found the original version with the timing problem floating around somewhere but held out. Nice picture btw

EDIT: Hmm after watching it Im kinda disappointed in this one. Not the best one so far.

No. I assume that the company will animate the rest of the manga, with cuts as they see fit of course.

Haha I just realized yesterday while blankly staring at my comp: "hey, Hellsing ova 4 is probobly out"

Just finished....

Am I the only one who cant help but laugh with them during their psycho moments ? This is such a wonderfully insane character cast. More anime should be like this.

gotta agree with you there, the 13 episode series is my favorite still so far compared to this.

Never read the manga, but all this talking is getting rather boring.

Are they making more? Would be a shame for it to end with this episode.

Overall wasn't a bad episode, felt the "I love war" speech was just a tad too long.

Poor Rip, she didn't last long

Now for the long wait for the next one

As far as Rip being ok, she didn't really do anything....

she seemed pretty pointless to me because of how weak she was, Alucard took to long to kill her, making the part seem 20 minutes longer than it needed to be.

Too long? He was enjoying himself. Work and pleasure are inseparable for Alucard.

And for a ranged-fighter, Rip is very powerful. But there's no point when she can't stop him regenerating.
Her mission was a suicidal one anyway; as it was pointed out, her goal was to trap Alucard on open water, she wasn't ever meant to defeat him. Hence as she succeeded her mission, she was not burned up like the others and was instead given a proper farewell by the rest of the army.

They should be making the entire manga, which will probably be 2, maybe 3 more episodes (to get where it is now which looks like the end, wonder if this month is the last one), then the Dawn in the end of that.

Episode 4 is more of a transition episode, there is a LOT of action coming up, and some interesting development, which will happen very fast. So don't be disheartened. Rip served her purpose, and was done well.

Be patient, it's all leading up to the eventual event that every manga reader is waiting for.
