I personally don't know, because when the Vivid series runs, Thoma was still in his village before the massacre occurred. Even then Lily and Isis are still doing their own activities before the three of them met.
So, if he already know Vivio, Thoma, surely he is also known Heidi, right? And that's not including her school friends.

Oh, I see. By the time of ViViD, he still 13 years old, isn't it? Maybe by the time of ViViD he still venturing from one place to another place to find to find the perpetrators who committed genocide in the village where he lived, that called Vaizen?
Now more and more obvious. Thanks for the information, Raiser.

He only started to travel fairly recently when Force began, he should still be around during Vivid. Remember though, he's living at an orphanage, not the Nakajima's. The reason he was traveling was to get some closure before being adopted.

I guess we might meet Tohma probably after DSSA in Vivid. By the looks of it, Subaru and her family looks free at the time they invite Tohma to join the family. We might see the rocess along the way probably after the tournament. This means that Vivio, Einhart and all their friends will meet Tohma. There might be even a high chance for him to meet Lutecia if she still hang around after DSSA.

I get the feeling that any appearance Touma makes in ViVid, it'll be a brief cameo like Vivio and Einhart in Force.
And we're starting to blur the lines of which series we're talking about again. Why, oh why did the mods break everything up? That was such a stupid move...

The fact of the matter is, the Nanoha franchise is so entwined with itself that cross-media discussions are frequent--there've been times in these two manga discussion threads that we've gone on about the other series because we forgot we were in the wrong thread.
The generalized discussion thread was fine and nobody had problems with it. And IIRC, the person who requested ViVid have its own thread was xris. A mod who was unfamiliar with the franchise and figured that the Nanoha manga thread was for the manga for the first season. Y'know, the manga that doesn't exist.

Actually, the real reason is that the people who weren't interested in Force got tired of wading through the lengthy Force debates in search of any information on Vivid. So now instead of that, we're dealing with the whole "ohcrap, this is off-topic, isn't it?" problem.

And I'd prefer to keep the over the top complaints as far as Force or Vivid goes in their respective threads myself. :P I don't mind it, since I don't feel the manga are really that connected. Plus any Vivid conversation was rapidly drowned out in Force talks when they were mixed, which got old fast.

Well, as Aki said, Force criticized for the way the pace of story is slow, the enemy is too hax, more violent than predecessor, and the plot taken too seriously. And for ViViD, for me no problem. But that makes me feel uncomfortable is too sweet to be followed, fanservice that up to eleven, and so far lacks antagonist character.
Especially for ViViD, personally I like Einhart. It does not matter if he is a rival who tries to find her true identity, and make friends. But when viewed from a dream in which Claus must defeat Olivie, I myself was worried if the case towards the last chapter, she ... Spoiler:

For me, Force is one of those major crisis stories in Nanohaverse. In the prologue itself, this is the third major case happening on Midchilda. I agree the pacing is slow but I guess the author trying to maintain the shounen aspect of the battle which takes along time. I don't mind if it is a weekly manga but as a monthly manga, I guess it will probably take another 5 to 10 years to end? I guess Tsuzuki probably wants the manga end when Nanoha reach 25 in real time.
Vivid on the other hand is an expansion of the series. It gives us a better background of the world they are in. It is a little too sweet but hey just enjoy it. |
