Why won't Sasuke say yes to Sakura?

Well Sakura really loves Sasuke.

after reading chapter 181, do I understand that She loves him truly, but I don't get it why Sasuke wont go to her, She is the one who would fit him mostly, she would help him to feal loved, and he would get away from the lonliness

Its aparent why in the first few episodes. He sees her as a superficial whiney spoiled brat. While hes seen his own brother kill his friends, family, hes had to live on his own, look out for himself etc. Shes more concerned that theres pickles on her hamburger

I think he might like her but his mission in life is to kill itachi and to do that he must get powerful enough, sakura represents a distraction to him, if he accepts her he would need to worry about what happens to him on his mission. Like Oro said Naruto and Sakura were changing sasuke's goal in life, after oro attacked konoha I think sasuke considered his friends and his potential future life more importent then killing itachi, but after Itachi totally pwned him and reminded him of what he had done he realized he had to get more power and oro provided the easy way out. I think he distences himself from Sakura because he knows that the path he had decided on was not one to have Sakura around for. If sasuke ever succeeds in killing his brother then he would consider sakura's offer to rebuild the uchiha clan, he might realize that rebuilding his clan was the reason that his brother left him alive.

He is 12 or 13... His hormones do not have that great of an influence on him yet, so he does not see the benefit of going out with Sakura. From his point of view, everything he wants from her is already being given without being "with her".

Do you remember when you were 12/13? That's when the hormones are starting to have a great influence on you. You are pretty much at their whim from around 12 to 21. Some sooner and/or some later.

Most kids I know that were around 12 were starting to have some inclinations towards the opposite sex.

However, they weren't also fighting for their lives.

If you gave the average 12 year old guy a choice between racecars and women, he's going to choose the cars. Sasuke won't fall for Sakura yet because he's got other things on his mind.

maybe that's the standard. I can tell you thoug, that even when I was eight I would have chosen the women, don't worry about that. (don't get me wrong; I do like cars)

As far as Sasuke and Sakura go, come on she's sooooo annoying. If he were about 5 years older he'd probably just have his fun with her and toss her aside (go, playboy-Sissyke!), but at 12 you don't really want anything to do with pesky creatures like that, do you? Plus her hair's pink...
