Team Collaboration Art Project # 2

Oyyyy...this took me awhile to think of....
umm...all the fanart assingments until now have been based on popular anime and such...so this time, whike its still about anime, its a bit different.
you all know Digimon, th animated series. your task is this:
1.Create your own (original) digimon character. A human one that is.
2.Alongside your character, create your own digpet..thing..whatever..you know, the little monsters that transform and evolve.
3.Be creative as you can, use any medium possible...and most imoportantly...have fun!!!
Be original, use references from the series if you want, and take your time.
*This will be done in pairs.
**Pairs are to be posted BEFORE the works are submitted, in this thread.
***Works are to be handed in at the most, 4 weeks from now. I am giving you a lot of time so use it to think, and use it wisely, and dont wait for the last moment, because last-minute entries will not be accepted after yhe deadline.

what do you mean "us photoshopers"?

that's what it is. One person draws, and one person colors (I use photoshop to color). Any special effects are done by the colorer (ie. me), so I'm not sure what you mean.

I meant in the original art department. Sure, I could CG, but I'd rather be part of the original art side. And since I can't draw, photoshoping would be easier for me.

Er... are they going to be judged by how close they are to the original style, or how... pretty (or whatever) they are overall?

judged on overall appearance and technique.

Coloring:
-Lightsource consistency/ creativity
-Color choices
-Shading
-Special Effects

Lining/drawing:
-Angle/creativity
-Proportions
-Overall appearance

I didn't judge the last one because I was in it, but that's what I would have judged on.

And since I can't draw, photoshoping would be easier for me.

Well, does that mean you will be drawing, coloring, or neither. It sounds like coloring unless you draw in photoshop.

I, too, have decided to do lineart. Let me know if you want to team up with me... I'm done with it, so it's ready whenever you want to start.

Also, this is probably my best work yet, so if you don't like my other work, well... I don't think you'll be disappointed.
