What about Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans (IBO)? It's practically still on-going with split season (25 episodes each). There's no "season 2"-sign or marker on the title of the currently-airing season. Heck, even the official Gundam channel (gundam.info) on youtube listed episode 01 of IBO "season 2" as 'Episode 26'. Should we really put IBO on the finished TV series category?

Rule Clarifications

Fundamentally speaking, the whole split cour rule was always an attempt at drawing a line through a grey area. The current rule only covers a three month gap and I think that's about right. Anymore than that and you could be looking at a lot more series that run foul of the rule (and the time and effort required to catch em all would be tremendous). We do try to consider exceptions to the rules but in Gundam IBO's case, I think it's way too subjective to consider it a definite exception. I personally think there's a noticeable break between the two seasons.

And yes, Kimi no Nawa is not eligible due to the BD/DVD release rule.

All in all, another year that I've watched very little to completion. Seems like most anime becomes boring after 3-4 weeks and my drive to continue dies off pretty quickly. So most of the stuff nominated here managed to avoid that fate. And Rakugo was by far my favourite anime. Here's hoping S2 will continue to deliver.

[Best Side-Character] The character ""Rider Jesus"" for the series "Bakuon!!" could not be found. Did you mean: "Rin Suzunoki"

Rin is part of the main cast. Rider Jesus was the unnamed guy dressed like Jesus who seems to imply that the archangel Raphael is riding a Suzuki. Will change it since many people might be confused with my choice.

[Best Movie] "Kizumonogatari I: Tekketsu-hen" is of the type [Not Eligible] which is not acceptable for the category.

The Blu-Ray of Tekketsu-hen was released on December. Or was it not eligible since it's a three-part movie series?
In any case, I might be forced to pick nothing. Kono Sekai no Katasumi ni doesn't seem to deserve it.
