It is a 1 cour series. As far as I can tell most 1 cour series don't generate enough content for its own subforum. However GuP is unusual in that its spinoff is unrelenting and numerous, and they are actually GOOD rather than cheap cash-ins.

Yep...I think VCV hit the nail on the head here.

If the series ever got a second season then it would probably be considered more seriously (just a personal guess and speaking as a fan of the series proper - no "official statements" XD ) for receiving a subforum than when it first came out.

It has been interesting (and cheering!) to see how the series has continued to stay so active for the past couple of years though. The Anzio OVA was quite good, now if only the movie can be similarly up to par at the minimum I will be a happy viewer. ^^

For some reason this makes me laugh. This is the girl whose entire Italian gang slept through the whole final match, and here she's hanging around like nothing happened

They just love to shove Anchovy into any poster they can, after giving her so little screentime in the TV broadcast, after she got her own episode they have to keep reminding people she exists

I am glad that girls und panzer is getting a movie. When I think of a second season I don't see too much that could be done without it getting gloomy and dark. she already lead her team through tough battles, the weight of wiining or school shut down, and getting her mother if only a little to accept that she has some skill.

If they make it work then go right ahead, but to me a second season may not go as well unless it is on a different school and a new main character.

Emi's story might be a point of focus in a hypothetical second season, looking at Little Army 2 for an example.
