Well at least there is still some time there . Though also plan on going through the games in a bit of a quick marathon session just to feel ready for this one when it hits next week.

Despite them reusing a lot of scenes from the previous campaigns. Just seeing Artanis with those blades still makes me get too hyped for this.

If only his warp blade reached Artanis' nerve cord sooner... but I knew it will happen. Still, all of protoss will remember his heroism and his legacy. Without him and the Nerazim, they would never know about the prophecy of Amon's wrath and the Khala corruption

And then, turns out the Xel'Naga artifact Valerian, Raynor & co. and Mengsk kept it is the Keystone to defeat Amon and hybrids.

Half a dozen cannons supported by 2-3 of those long range defenses plus 3-4 shield batteries makes for a very tough defense line.

But it's SP so who cares?

The story is good as usual and I love the cinematics and the units are a lot of fun to play with.

I play with Sentinel Zealots (Revive after death), Stalkers, and teleporting Dark Templar.

I don't like the Reaver though, I find the Colossi superior to the Reaver but that maybe me.

I hate it when they use "and he/she/they were never seen again." Those endings are such a lie because the player can clearly see where they are/going. Not to mention how flopping weird it is. Could have easily been cleared up with "X has gone missing, as of yet, all that has been found was...." Wouldn't try and force such a fatalistic ending down our throats, but at the same time wouldn't drag on the series. Ambiguity was the better option here, ironically.

I dunno. I feel Jim just randomly disappearing without ever seeing any of his friends ever again is kinda, well, rude? Also a bit sad. Anyhow, it would have been so much nicer if they didn't go for such a dramatic mystery juju (We all know he's just in HOTS).

Still, great ending, both Epilogue and Normal Campaign. Good job Blizzard, its a nice end to a darn good trilogy.

Brutal in this game actually feels like Brutal.

After just rushing through campaign without caring for achievements... I had mixed feelings about it:

Spoiler for Campaign possible spoilers:

+Difficulty was scaled reasonably well. The beginning was ridiculously tough on Brutal until you really got the (death)ball rolling with units like Colossi, and even then, you had to be careful.
+The plot twist in the beginning was one of the solid defining moments.
+CGI animations, as usual, were pretty good.
+Units/ship settings were fun to play with. There were a lot of times when I wondered which faction's unit I wanted to take into the mission, and which composition worked best.
+Some of the characters, like Alarak and Karax, stood out in terms of personalities.

-Story was very cliche, painful at times, especially the ending.
-Some characters like Vorazun and Rohana only got a 'meh' from me. Personal preference.
-A bit let down because of what the developers stated a while back that it would focus heavily on making choices that would alienate or unify different factions.
-Some levels, especially the epilogue levels, were very rehashed from the WoL and HotS missions.
-A few loose ends, like Raynor just mysteriously disappearing. Was that a dream or real life at the end? And then we still have the UED, which I hope gets covered in future single player mission packs.

And now, I gotta go grind some co-op and try multiplayer.
