From what I read from the pre-screening spoilers, it will not get to the final heart wrenching moment in this episode, which means it will be pure battle&flashback episode.

Either way, next week they BETTER do "Rin-sama embarrassed and angry". It's one of the best scenes in the route and ideal to get back into high spirits.

Spoiler for EP15:

-Shirou and Rin arrive at castle, they hear very loud noise
-OP
-COMMERCIALS
-COMMERCIALS
-Gil uses NPs that make no damage
-Gil realizes it and uses others that are strong enough to get through God Hand and deal damage
-Shinji thinks he is cool and runs in but runs away soon after relizing he is fucked if he stays there
-Illya: "Berserker is the strongest"
-Illya flashback
-Dark Iri (probably grail) talks to young Illya about Kiritsugu, probably badmouths him
-Red/Black Mud manifests while Dark Iri talks to young Illya
-young Illya gets the "mud" on her body
-young Illya talks to some homunculus in some kind a homunculus disposal area
-the homunculus young illya talks to disappear alongside with other humculi
-Heracles chained in an Einzbern castle after summoning while Illya talks to Leysritt and Sella
-COMMERCIALS
-Illya talks to maids in front of Berserker
-Illya punches Berserker
-Illya feel in pain due to command seals
-Snow forest scene
-Illya gets bitten by wolves, saved by Berserker
-"You are strong berseker." -flashback ends
-fight now inside mansion

-Gil uses gates from behind Illya to force Berserker to move

.... NO HEART SURGERY THIS EPISODE, also I may have missed it but everything points to "eye cutting" to be BD addition, heart surgery may happen next episode though.

I've been over-hyped tho.. :/ prolly won't enjoy this episode as much as if I were neutral going into it.

I've no more tears for Ilya, but this must be painful for those watching the series as a sequel of F/Z.

An interesting detail was Gil's Gate of Babylon. Previously it was always shown to take the shape of a wall with only slight curvature, but against Berserker in this anime, it is opened in a spherical shape.

Interesting, but feels like an empty story on it's own. Between this and Fate Zero, it explains why we would care about Illyasviel... but then independently it doesn't feel like an appropriate conclusion. I suppose you can retroactively apply it to Fate route or use it to look forward to Heaven's Feel. (Or Prisma Illya depending on how you look at it.)

I was afraid this episode was going to make me drop the show, but I don't think so. It's a really good episode.

My first thought: I like to think that Gilgamesh actually wet his pants when Hercules made his last move.

Then after thinking about it: This was just pathetic. The mighty Hercules was reduced to a punching bag for Gilgamesh because of dumb Ilya getting in the way.

I think it was more of trying to protect your master from an assault of flying swords rather than her getting away.

Damn at that last move I just wanted Berserker to punch him in the face
