All Pierrot does is churn out one really good series after another, and all they get is shit from fans. Yeah, sometimes (by no means always) they obviously do a series on the cheap, but they almost never screw up the storytelling.

It basically looks like it. Reminds me of Berserk's TV reboot that is airing right now, mainly due to the shading having a sharp striped texture inside to give a manga-esque vibe.

This first episode would have been bad enough even if I didn't have to constantly fight the urge to clean my monitor, still it would have been more watchable without that cheap filter everywhere.
