I am expecting a great suspense/comedy episode, more SanaxNanaka moments & no Asami *hides*.
From what I've seen so far, I'veyet to see whats so great about Nanaka, aide from her being the played out childhood friend/dear. I much prefer Asami...sadly I don't think she will end up with Sana >_<
Speaking of childhood friends...it be nice if Kouichi and Mao ended up together at the end...yet that also seems doubtfull...well at least blue Drop hasn't failed ._.
The first part has Sana going to one of those places full of old people while the second part is the festival.
Things we find out in this festival:
Shuri and Asami help out at the Home
Nanaka doesn't want to play the violin
The reason deals with fire
While this episode didn't reveal anything about Sana, we see that Nanaka clearly doesn't want to play the violin. There was also a flashback of flames.
Other suspicious things include:
Her grandfather. Their interaction felt awkward and they seemed somewhat discomforted with each other.
The fact that she isn't with her parents is important. When asked why, she simply said that there was a "circumstance".
Though we already guessed it, Shuri clearly knows something about what happened, as she was the only one that objected them asking Nanaka to play the violin.. Of course, this means that so does Shuusuke.
Romance wise, not too much changed. Asami and Sana do spend time with each other, but it only seems at "good friends" level. Nanaka is, of course, blushing constantly or worrying or being jealous when it involves Sana.
Sana is... I don't know. He doesn't really blush in front of any of these two, though there was the scene after the festival where they almost touched hands (though I don't know why).
Other things inlcude:
Sana is either stupid or he doesn't have feelings for Nanaka. He started giving the doll to Nanaka, but sees Hinako and gives it to her while Nanaka stood there troubled.
The creepy scene at the very end with the old lady... Freaky and ominous...
Next time- Another Hinako episode. Sana makes his move, that predator...

There is nothing great about Nanaka other than her realistic personality which makes her interesting, something that I can't say for other characters (except Hinako??). As for Asami, if this series has a nice boat ending then I expect her to act like Kotonoha . Hopefully Myself; Yourself won't turn out like...

Nanaka is as generic as a charater as they come and a boring character as well...
I don't think people slap other's for just not remembering them...although I do think there's more to it...still pretty unrealistic....

My logic is always like this. See which girl has the most chance to hook up with the male lead. And try to like her enough so that I don't dislike the series for a paring I don't like. Not saying she should be my favorite though.
episode 5 isn't really as I expect based on the preview. I really thought it would be some mystery/scary episode (Higurashi lol) as what Shuri told in the previous preview.
Overall I really enjoy watching this episode, glad to see that Nanaka is back with more screen time after her dormant action in episode 4. Darn Hinako ruin the romance scene in the end. I love seeing Nanaka face expression when Sana gave the Yeti stiff doll to Hinako as present. Poor Nanaka lol
Now on the story note: I think we have a slightly more clear picture about Nanaka past after what being shown in this episode. Nanaka living with her uncle, refuse to play the violin (fire background? )....
