Anyone care to make some Music recommendations?

I'm just looking for some new OSTs to listen, preferable something with lots of piano/violin songs, modern-classical [oxymoron? you know what I mean... hopefully] feel, an or nice soft experimental elements. Most of my favorite OST songs are sad/melancholy instrumentals~

My current favorite things to listen to:
Tsubasa Chronicle
Fate/Stay Night
Asatte no Houkou
.Hack://SIGN
Fullmetal Alchemist
Piano de Kanon
Piano de Heart
Mai-Hime
Noir
Elfen Lied
Air
Tsukihime
Refeel: Air/Kanon Piano Arange
Leaf Piano Collections
Trinity Blood
Le Chevalier D'Eon
All Final Fantasy Piano Collections

I'm just looking for anything along the lines of similar~ Or if anyone would care to reccomend an individual song, in the event you think I might like it, but the rest of the OST not so much. Such as I love Chikane no Theme, Garasu no Hana, and Kanashimi no HAte from Kanazuki no Miko, but little else; or Just You, Tears, and Sweetest Smile from Aquarian Age~ Any suggestions are greatly apreciated!

My Otome (quite similar to Mai HiME OST)
Read or Die (same style)
Ah! My Goddess! TV (the whole OST may sound great only if you've watched the series, but there are a lot of really good songs in it)
Aria the Animation/Natural (relaxing and sweet)

Noein has some good choral music. Gundam Seed and Seed Destiny have pretty decent orchestral music.

If you like .hack//Sign, then you would probably like any other soudntrack by Yuki Kajiura. You might also like the .hack//Roots soundtracks.

Gundam Seed Series has many wonderful songs. One song in particular have been one of my favourite Japanese songs for a while. It is Reason by Nami Tamaki. Other songs which I enjoyed would be those from Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien, Hoshizora no Waltz in particular =)

Yeah, from the mix of your examples it sounds like the Simoun (and Gundam Seed/Seed Destiny) OSTs are right up your alley.

Nana's (live action version's) and Zettai Shounen's soundtracks are good OSTs, soft and calming.

By far the best anime soundtrack of all time: Millennium Actress.

Can't get enough of that one. So very unique, with such amazing beats, and such emotionally powerful melodies...

FLCL and Samurai Champloo are pretty much the best, and probably the only, "stand-alone" OSTs you are able to find anime. Both Kenji Kawaii's GitS compositions are pretty decent, too.
