Did anyone else encounter a graphics lag in LuPerry's Sumomo OP? Man what was that about... (Claudia can't handle softsubs in h264?? T.T) Haha.. I would die happy if each episode of Sumomo started with her finding a creative way to entice Koushi!

Lost, that's Vobsub's fault - it seems that it wastes a lot of computing power doing those fancy subtitle effects in high resolution. The easiest solution is to extract the .ass subtitle track(I did it with mkvtools) and remove those
sumomo_title lines.

Regarding the lagging OP in the LuPerry HD version, I noticed that if you go with the 2nd sub track, then its fine. The karaoke doesn't look nearly as nice with the alternate track, but the speed problem is solved.

If you have Media Player Classic, you should be able to run the lower-res Ep 3 and 4 just fine without choppiness. The Hi-Res ones do lag though.

Anyways, Ep 4 is classic!! My favorite episode so far for really obvious reasons.

More like embarassment. She's 15 right? Can't be too experienced?

She's confronted with a guy she's supposed to assasinate but earlier
in the day he helps her, pats her on the head and she gets all gooey
inside. She's obviously attracted and his very presence puts her off
center.

So then put yourself in this position:

loves you, no, declares love at first sight for you and then utters:

she turned out to be - if our would-be assasin had succeeded
it would have been all over.

The assasination has been called off. I suspect she's going to
try to woo him to her side - some way of using him to further
her family name and get more of those gooey feelings.

Ultimately:
We're going to have three rival would-be brides of Koushi-dono:
hence the rock/paper/scissors scene in the closing credits.

Isn't he lucky? One is an oversexed Uber-Moe airhead, the
other is a "serious martial artist" with a penchant for wearing
masks and fishnet stockings and the other is a woman who
seems to enjoy dressing up like a crime avenging horse with
a bit in her mouth.

So much for that nice normal woman you want, Koushi-dono!

The second half with Iroha's encounter with Koushi, and that last scene on the bed, that was some quality comedy. This show is really starting to remind me of last season's Zero no Tsukaima, in that it's completely predictable, but yet still manages to be highly entertaining.

To be honest, I wasn't really enthusiastic about the show when I first started watching it, but after ep 4, this has become one of my favorites of the season.

This show is funny allright, but it still has the typical panzy and or/asshole/nice guy in it who is like by all the girls. I hate that, because every single anime is like that.

I want an anime of this type. Where three girls like him and all, but he discovers his true powers or has been hiding them and lets everybody see that he isn't a push around. I am tired of seeing the righteous dude with a big heart that saves the day trough words or jumping around aimlessly.
