I have a few symptoms . . . I didn't have much of a social life to begin with. I've been getting more physical exercise lately, so . . .
Sometimes I play the computer when I should be doing homework or a project but I always get it done afterwards! I don't have that problem . . . Ha! Mom does that, not me. Sometimes. I admit that I adore Fanfiction.net and would much rather be on that then having to deal with the idiots I am forced to associate with. Real world problems? Erm . . . How I could I escape real world problems by going online? -.-;; Hm. I don't really disregard the physical problems. I have actually been more active lately and I'm thinking about picking up the soccer ball again. Emotional problems? I couldn't care less about those . . . Denial of problem? Nope. I pretty much accept the fact that I am addicted. Most of the kids my age are . . . |

The only real problem I have is no Social life if you exclude College . . . lol
All the people who share the same interests as me are far away and I can only reach them online . . . . I don't spend too much time . . but there are days where there is a lot to talk about and I lose track of time. |

2. What's physical activity?.... Does sex count? Because it's just that and the internet for my sports hobbies. haha. 3. Of course, I'd do that even without the net. 4. Well...um yes that's true, I built my pc from scratch. I keep buying it new things, like pretty lights. um...yeah because...um....THEY MAKE IT GO FASTER! 5. Not really 6. The problems are multiplied on the net. Unless you're role playing in a MMORPG. 7. I don't think there are any emotional ones. What do I do at work other than sit behind a pc? 8. I don't. :P |

No one asks, anyway I'd say 5-6 hours at most...and that would probably be because of CS.
There wasn't much physical activity before, but I'm actually more active now because of my job. And my social life is the same, work/classes during the week, party at night. Quote:

No, not really. The only problems I'd to that with is homework I don't feel like doing but I know if I play a game or watch something, I'll be busy for awhile. Quote:
Hmm...maybe... |

But there are millions of people that DO. And not just Myspace specifically. I think worldwide, there are far too many "social" forums. Predators just need to take their pick of all the idiots out there....

All of those apply to me. It's gotten to the point where "social life" doesn't interest me and I can't be bothered to go out with friends anymore. If doing stuff like partying and smoking weed and walking around West End with no money is a social life, then I'll quite happily stay on the net.
Ugh, and I'm the BIGGEST procrastinator in the world.

> 1. Lying about how much time is spent online.
Nope. I brag about it. > 2. General decrease of physical activity and social life. Pfft. I'm a geek. I LIVE behind the computer. > 3. Neglecting obligations at home, work, or school to spend time online. Pfft. I wish. 90% of my obligations *ARE* online. The ones that aren't I duitifully take care of lest my family jewels be unceremoniously removed. > 4. Spending too much money on computer equipment or Internet activities. I'm a geek. Nuff said. Acutally though, my total interent and computer spending is WAY down from what it used to be. It used to be that it was a slow year if I only spent about $6000-$10,000 a year on PC stuff. Now I'm lucky to spend $2000-$3000 anymore, and most of that is to replace stuff that's dying. It sucks being broke. > 5. Feeling a constant desire to be online when they're away from the computer. Yes and no. Depends on what's happening online. I have a lot of responsibilities online, so I worry about them just as much as I do about real life responsibilities. > 6. Going online to escape real world problems. Eh, unless blowing the living **** out of stuff in UT, WolfET or some other similar FPS's to relieve stress counts, uh, no. > 7. Disregarding the emotional or physical consequences of being in front of a computer all day. lol. I have trouble sitting still, so this really isn't a problem. > 8. Denial of the problem. I don't have a...wait, wah?.....awe man! Not fair! This is a trick question! ^_^;; :P |
