I am a fan of Miyuki's character, I love her character in fact but I understand why some people dislike her....

Hell, most main female characters of any series, manga, anime, and Light novel, are hated by some people......

Still, compare to some female characters out there, Miyuki is likeable way more than most female characters that I have seen in a long....

Miyuki's character is breath of fresh air because she's unique.....

Firstly, Miyuki is not a tsundere....Thank God because 75% of all female main characters are tsundere.....Miyuki's honest with her feelings...mostly anyway

Second, Miyuki is not a weak or useless female lead....Again, at least 80% female main leads are either weak or useless, or both....Miyuki might be dependent on Tatsuya but she's strong enough to protect herself and be of used to Tatsuya...

But I guess the reason why Miyuki is a bit hated is because of how she is portrayed......She is a divine character that is portray as the perfect woman...Beauty, wit, and power in a single character.

Some readers cannot relate to that kind of character......In a way, that's the reader's fault....They've been used to the common female leads that are either tsundere, useless, weak, or a combination of any of the two or a combination of all.....They could not accept a female lead that is strong and dependable, virtual perfect......

In many anime, novel, and manga series, there is at least one character with Miyuki's archetype (Female character that is virtually perfect) but is considered a side character....Mahouka is the first series where the perfect female character is the female lead. This is a breathe of fresh in my opinion, but some readers cannot wrapped their mind in this idea because they are used to the common female lead with the same generic characteristics, and because of that, they cannot relate with Miyuki, a female lead that is mostly honest with her feelings, can stand beside the male lead, strong, and is portray as a perfect princess.....

Ah...yeah. ^_^ I do that.^^ And yes my sister is a little weirded out by it, but the girl adores me^^ Cause I'm a good onii-chan who would do anything for his younger sister.^^

I love onee-sans too.^^ But I just don't find them as delicious as imouto

Well I love Mayumi^^ as a character. I just don't think a nice girl like her should be with the goddamn Mahesvara. XD

P.S. I also like Miyuki as a character but I might hate her if she is an actual person. She may seem perfect on the outside but there are many foul traits in her true personality. But that is what make her character interesting. "Good" people are simply flat and boring.

Of course I don't^^it's just that, as much as I appreciate what fujin did, I don't think pampz was trying to insult anyone with what he said, and even if he was, I didn't really mind^^ I like to think I've got a little more tolerance to personal attacks than most. I've been called an absurd number of things in the past, I'm actually amused by the variety. XD

Well, I have a fondness for "evil girls". Granted, Miyuki's far from evil...but she has the personality of an empress: kind, and gentle most of the time, but also pragmatic, astute, and completely merciless when provoked. When Miyuki means business she means business. Miyuki's a beautiful monster. Which makes her a perfect fit for Tatsuya: a monster deserves another monster. And like I said before, the Yotusba might have been raising two dragons instead of just one without them realizing it.

I always thought if HanaKana play Mahouka she would be Shizuku since "HanaKana's character in stories with Harem theme will usually be the one that seems to have wining chance but will unluckily fail to win the protagonist".

But I didn't expect she will voice for Mayumi!
(bad luck for Mayumi/ another infamy for Hana)

btw, watch out for Nakahara Mai(Ichihara Suzune). That one is THE Felli Loss.



P.S. don't be sad for not having HanaKana as Erika's VA, pampz. I can say the staff did a great job for choosing the casters. There can't be a better Erika's voice actor than Ushiyama Yumi. Many characters this person voiced are an evil/action girl(girl that can't stay passive and believe that foul is fair or sometime manipulative and stubborned). That's definitely Erika.

Yeah the voice for Supporting Cast are solid if you ask me but hell Miki,Honoka's VA are new =(

Yeah I read Nisekoi and Binbougami; The closest I got from Erika-like is Momiji but she lack Erika's overly friendly attitude~ I wish she show us some of her magic#!
