Seriously now, Has anyone considered if there is a link between the Harmonium and Mai? Perhaps the Harmonium calls Mai from some far-away area, like that blue (otome?) star. I can't think of anyway else for Mai to make a grand entrance.

Yes, that sounds very much likely to me. Why else would the Harmonium fullfil Sergei's dream? Of course, there are other possible reason but I like this one.

Personally I hope she doesn't show up (at least not until the last one or two episodes), partly because it would piss all you Mai fanboys off (don't get me wrong, I actually liked Mai in Mai-Hime), and second because it will distract from the story (look at Gundam Seed Destiny, and what happened with the whole Kira thing, it totally screwed up the whole story - and just like before, I did like Kira in Gundam Seed too).

Afterall, he hesitated saying "my" and instead, said "Sergey and my dreams"(something like that).

Remember when Nagi sent Sergay that letter, "For our dreams to be fulfilled...it is imperative to find the real princess at any cost."

That's why Sergay gave his oath to Nagi, because he too shared his dreams with Nagi about returning the planet to its golden age.

Nagi hesitated because Sergay betrayed him but nevertheless he's still willing to give Sergay another chance so he rephrased it. Do also remember that he told Nina he would forgive Sergay if she took care of Arika.

Eitherway, with the Mai issue, she's probably living as a hermit in the Sprite Forest, wherever that is. That or she's travelling across the world or she's in a coma, waiting for a handsome prince to kiss her
