i do prefer the funny part, but ichiko's character development is quite entretaining, and it actually helps me to like the character, sho she don't look as dimwitted and annoying as other characters that have the same archetype.

Just saw episode 5 and its more development for Michiko, uh I meant Ichiko. Her chibi form is cute and seeing her wet the bed was pure gold! Its pay back for what you done to the Tsuwabuki family.
Bit sad that baby Sora was a boy, but if she was a girl, this wouldn't been funny. Gender Abuse!

I still dislike Ichiko. Hate her personality, and her developments have been very minimal.
Michiko was pretty cute though. And her wetting the bed was funny. Best characters in the show is Keita's family. Wouldn't mind if the show just focused on their hardships and close familyness. They have so little food to eat, but Ichiko still keeps coming over for dinner and sharing in what little food they have. Its interesting that Keita puts up a strong front for his family, but deep down he has his desires as well, though in the end, its still to make his family happy. Didn't expect the "To be Continued.." at all at the end of the episode. Poor Keita.... Anyone now why when Michiko said her father was violent, and Keita was ready to 'set him straight' The elder sister was flicking two rocks together?

Wow, 1 hour winding just for 1 minute of talk time? Talk about harsh.
Was a bit surprised this was set after eps3/4, especially since I got the impression this was the start of the human monument project. Apparently this arc wasn't the start of the human monument project, but the beginning was way WAY before this one. Hmm... now I'm wondering if the climax of the series would actually be where all this began.

if theres is something i was not expecting for this was the amazing BGM, and in this episode there were a couple of new ones that really reafirmed this to me, they really are doing a great job at adapting the manga, thoug they made a change to tsuwabuki leg injury, it was easier to tell what happened, this also keeps making the seiyuus go from here to the other side with the range of their voices and in few cases i have seen this done this well, next episode its gonna be great a hot blooded character enters the fray!!
to this point they have covered 9 manga chapters, but they have skipped 2 i think(3 with the promotional chapter that runned in SJ), but giving the nature of the series they migth fit it in (if this gets) another season, since its quite clear where they plan to end this.

Nadeshiko technically doesn't appear in the manga until chapter 20, but the anime has been giving her random cameos everywhere. |
