Too bad the miko team lost... we really like to see more of Jindai... oh well... guess we just have to wait in the very long future until the end of the team tournament and the national version of the singles tournament for her to reappear again... assuming the National version would be in the manga... most certain they'll have that after all Saki can't fight Teru in the team match...
And by that time do hope Jindai would fight against Saki |

so this time around she really manage to score a legit +/- 0 and still be on top...?
Even with that... we still think Teru is more scarier than Saki... She may be becoming more like her ability wise so a tip of the ice berg for Teru's true ability... And doubt that all there is to Teru... for her to be a consecutive reigning champion at that... |

teru is kind of player where you know it's coming but you can't do nothing about it,
where saki is kind of player you don't know when she will take action and when you know it, the game is already over. personally i think teru is still stronger btw thought they indeed in the same realm. either way they are scary and should be banned from playing mahjong outside

Teru throws of the first match/half to seize their ability/nature/etc while Saki's case... a cheap shot one/twice/trice then followed by a major win... so in a way the two has certain predictable behavior...
But if what is seen in the anime/manga is all Teru have then its kinda disappointing... just hope she has more stored in her sleeve and not wanting to reveal all unless its necessary... Kinda makes us wonder on how Taco girl will handle her if they are too meet in the finals... |

since saki is a mahjong fantasy manga, then if she had a hiden "true name"-like mage-it would be Zero,as her latent power, once awakened, doesn't make her win with yakuman but instead control the game with +/- zero.
i'm curious to see teru reaction once she'll realize her little sister didn't change, will she be disapointed? and what about teru suposed weakness seen trough by achiga:could it be due to some kind of trauma related to saki zero mode? kuro wasn't able to take advantage of it;but as long as it leave room for character development(and we all know how ritz-sama excel at it),i'm happy with it. my only disapointment is the miko-booby monster-team,aka esui,elimination:3 out of 5 are third year and as miko having to serve god in some kind of mountain,i don't see how they could ever become pro;it was perhaps their last chance to enjoy mahjong in a tounament for their whole life... sad. |

Ah.. I did not expect this plot twist at all. I was expecting Eisui to go with Kiyosumi, then Kiyosumi going to the finals with Rinkai. But not, it's harder to predict. The one going to the finals may not even be Rinkai but the school that Rinkai will go with.
I'm actually quite fine with Himematsu. I think I've fallen in love with Kyouko and her biker shorts. Too bad no more Aislynn and Sae. We didn't even see Aislynn play at all! D: Well, hopefully we'll see the girl with the Dango hair play now. Ritz seems to like her as she usually appears. Spoiler:

Well darn, I didn't see this twist at all. So basically Saki twisted probability around her finger so that the two schools that Kiyosumi might have trouble with on top of Rinkai won't advance? Really?
Also, add my voices grieving for Himematsu. Toyoneeeee! Oh well, since we already saw Shiromi and Sae in Biyori, maybe Aislinn and Toyone will follow them there as well.
