Fantastic episode. Romary protecting Zeheart, that little boy who killed Grodek... Damn. It seems Asemu will be borrowing some Vagan tech to match up to Zeheart's skills.
Wish the HG for the Double Bullet came with effect parts for the giant beam sabers on its shoulders! |

I'm amazed, they managed to cram 3 separate intense stories in a single episode.
Too bad Grodek didn't have a chance to pass the complete spy information to Flit. If someone was using Arabel Zoi's burden, I guess the theory about the third party has its merits. This war could indeed develop in an unexpected way. Romary's "Nina Purpleton" action during the Zeheart parley must haved sealed it for them in Asem view; he purposely avoid Romary's gaze this time after the skirmish. To think that Arisa already has her second butt slap and do care genuinely for her brigged teammate. I do like the Double "Wings of Light" introduction which would certainly help a non-X-rounder like Asem to even the odds, but he did note how his father can match Zeheart just using Age-1 not to mention capturing a (though I think the pilot died) Dorado's head. That capture Muscell tech could do more to help than the powerful DB rifles. Nice tidbit that atleast the Magicians 8 members Mink, Gren, Zel and the suspiciously name Dole do play martian poker. Upgraded Khronos next week!

- There were no previews of DB last week. I'm quite surprised that it did in this episode
- I know that whenevr a power-up, character and such debuts, it must look impressive/cool, but I think DB is too overpowered here. I mean, I know it has a beam like Unicorn's Magnum and make it two, but the pilots are still X-Rounders. Maybe that's the effect of the frenzy he currently has to kill Zeheart. Or should I properly say, jealousy. - So is it confirmed that Romary favors Zeheart more than Asemu? - So that's the helmet that stimulate ones x-rounder capabilities and Asemu's going to use it next episode. - Seeing Asemu like this made me remember when Kira got obsessed in protecting Archangel. While in this case, Asemu's no puppet. - I wonder why Grodek deleted the data. I assume he did that so a war could break out and maybe it'll end the cycle of hatred. - The unnamed (cause I don't know him) boy finally got his revenge and I find him lucky to have been killed right after he got his revenge. - Zeheart's finally catching up Flit's X-Rounder capabilities. But meh, that can only be proven once they both have machines with the same performance. - I was actually laughing like crazy here when DB debuted and Romary protected Zeheart. - I can't believe that I'm swayed in buying the MG Age-2 DB, when it comes out, just based on its debut episode only. The only thing I don't like about it, besides the lack of red, is the place for the missiles. I mean, the legs received an enough bulk at the side, they could've placed it there instead.

I know it's confirmed to be Fritt's grandson, but Fritt has a daughter, and Kio could very well be descended from her

It felt to me more of a situation where Asemu is blinding himself with his internal struggle. He claims to understand, but he's digging himself a deeper hole everytime he puts himself to comparison of either Zeheart, Flit or the idealised version of himself.
Given the context, I feel that it's more likely Asemu will survive, but only realise his folly through an extremely bitter pill at the very end of his arc. May or may not include Zeheart/Woolf sacrificing themselves for Asemu, etc. If Asemu's days are really numbered, and he actually dies in his blind pursuit of self-worth, then it would be a really really tragic.

@kiak666 - Too bad that Grodek lost his street smarts after 27 years in prison.

Great episode, especially seeing Asemu reaction towards Zeheart and Romary was priceless. Unlike most heroes he actually try to bring them apart directly. AGE2-DB wasn't bad either. Woolf intercepting the vagan guy, or even the vagan trying to destroy DB parts was not something I expect to see at all.

Great episode. The big fight caught me off guard. I thought this was going to be a talking episode, but I never expected Double Bullet to debut in this episode. The Double Bullet is definitely an 'upgrade', not a 'situation-specification' wear like the Titus or Spallow. The big ass shoulder beam sabers are cool.
I like the talking scenes between Asemu and Zeheart, but I thought it was way too short. They both should really have at least an half episode long discussions to sort out their differences. In the end, Asemu and Zeheart became more vengeful at each other, and I still don't understand what's Romary trying to do... I really hope Asemu is going to change his mindset soon. This inferiority complex is starting to hurt everyone and himself even more Err...RIP Grodeck?
