They very slightly updated the shaders and lighting to have a more cartoony look, so it looks closer to the Xillias/Zesteria/Berseria now.

It is an improvement, but I never liked that artstyle to begin with...

The English dub is also new.

Maybe it's the English voice. She sounds so monotone that she can come off as arrogant/condescending. Reminds me of Milla's English VA.

She sounds like an Erica Lindbeck (who was Magilou in Berseria), and I think the arrogant/condescending part is intentional as far as her initial dynamic with the male lead.

I'm still looking forward to this. The English Dub seemed fine to me and I didn't mind the lead girl's personality. There is a tough line to walk there, but so far I think it is doing fine. The personalities of the main pair seem to work and need to be the way they are to start off. Both will have their own arc anyways so will see how they turn out.

Hopefully when they are ready to reveal more information we can end up with a better idea of when this game will come out.

Rinwell a cute, Lowe (Rowe?) a Kirito voiced Lancer.

Also still bummed that it feels like a generic Bamco action game/God Eater clone instead of Tales.

He's in Tales of the Rays! He plays the very well known Tales characters "Kirito" and "Bell Cranel"!

But in all seriousness, I think it's that he hasn't been in the industry that long. He didn't start getting bigger roles until 2011/2012, and between then and now the only Tales games that would've been casting a new cast would've been Zestiria, Berseria, and Arise.

Rinwell is definitely a cute character. Nice in general to meet more of the main cast here.

I'm looking forward to it. Glad we've finally got an idea of when this is coming out and can look ahead to that.

I'm personally not a fan of that minimalistic UI either, but gameplaywise I'd take a generic action game over Berseria and Zestiria...

The battle system looks similar to Online MMO RPG mechanics. That's a major departure from linear motion.

Does anybody know if the US releases of Zestiria and Berseria had Japanese audio? I got the JP release for both of them so I don’t know, but if the US release of Arise has JP audio I’ll probably end up getting that one for the lower price and because I suck at reading kanji.

I went all crazy by preordering the game (several copies for shop exclusive content), an limited edition controller, and a thick perfect walkthrough guide for......Tales of Zestria...... It was one of the biggest mistake of my life.

Will wait for peoples review this time and then purchase it if it seems good.

Though the Asobi collector's edition below looks good. ...But again, dont want to make the same mistake I did with ToZ.

I kinda not convinced by game presentation from trailer, feels like God Eater 3 with Tales combo system.

After watching those three videos, it looks really generic. Definitely waiting until the reviews come out, but I'm not seeing much promise.
