When you buy gashapons, the best way is to buy the entire set.

But of course there's also the thrill of turning knobs and hoping your coins are well spent.

Yea I've seen alot of various things floating around, but it all seems to be their Seifku look so far...Gonna hold out for the ED outfits for sure.

Not bad, though I'm not the biggest fans of Gashapons either. I'm just glad K-On! merchandise if finally making it's way out, and my dream of them creating 1/8 scale Ending costume figurines for all the girls may come to fruition.

There's actually lots of figurine potential, as there has been a lot of snazzy costumes in the anime thus far.

Yea the Nendoroids are announced, anyone can expect that, GSC loves kyoani.

If GSC is releasing stuff, you can expect Max Factory to come up with something as well.

My guess is that the earliest possible time we'll get them is December.

$200 on a box of tissues is insane.

You're totally not viewing in the perspective of a collector lol

A collector buys stuff not for usage at all, they buy just to keep it and anything can be bought and kept.

Its like collecting stamps, you collect the stamps because you want to collect, you don't use the stamps on envelops.

It's probably also worth pointing out as well that those are just fan-made mock-ups, and not actual products being sold.

Plus, the Haruhi ones were never $200 either (typical Artefact truth-stretching). They were 525 Yen, but there were 20 different collectable boxes, and they also sold a display case in case you really want to collect them all and display them. So they were never "$200 tissues", it was only a $200 proposition if you absolutely had to collect it all (and I'm sure some people did, but not most people).

So yeah, file this under "don't believe everything you read" (on Sankaku Complex?), probably.
