As soon as I get my hands on a used copy of "GH: Metallica (I don't want neversoft to get any of my damn money but I can't resist Metallica D: ), I'll be pre-ordering.

I also want to get the nyoro~n shirt that is on the same page, but it is a bit too embarrassing XD I can only imagine the odd looks I'd get wearing that and the glares from my friends.

((Vol.1 as well)

They are really cute so I bought the whole set Sadly, the Secret Version was not in the pack

The secret figure is ponytail Haruhi in school sportswear, bloomers, I think the secret version is limited ed and is out of stock. The set is like 2 years old.

My favourite is Emiri though, it was the first Emiri figure ever released, it was a while until a few more Emiri figures were released.

My first Haruhi 1/8 PVC figure has arrived. The sculpt is nicely done and the pose is all Haruhi, the paint job is excellent for it's price (1500yen at HLJ) and it's quite big as well. The figure itself is exactly 20cm tall, and stands 24cm when attached to the base, making it one of my tallest 1/8scale figures, she's even higher than some of the 1/7 figures

Not really a fan of the design, to be honest

They already mentioned before that it'd just be DVDs. This does answer the question of whether or not they were going to re-solicit the whole original series too, and it looks like it's just the new episodes. The release is in-line with the way they released the original season. The English subtitles are a great move!

I'll be interested to see how they release the rest of the series.

Also means they can get people twice. Completion of the DVD sets and then full series Blu-ray releases later on. For those people who need it in all forms of media

(Much like how my family has "Blazing Saddles" in about every video media form possible since the Betamax).

...and if it were only this show that were doing this, I'd be more annoyed, but this is the way it is with most anime nowadays. It's almost depressing how few of the Summer series, all produced in HD, are getting Blu-Ray runs.

In other news, if the pattern of the first season is going to be followed, I wonder if that means they'll release two DVDs of Endless Eight? I suppose an interesting way of doing it would be to release a two-disc set of it all at once or something...? We'll see... The pattern of the first season was 1 + 2x6 + 1 = 14.

Is anime really all that better on blu-ray? It's great for the for live action things I've seen though, never thought it would really do all that much for animation
