I haven't seen it, but I give it a 10 for the nuke scene alone (and for Fumi). It's enough for me even if the rest of the episode turns out to be crappier than Zwei.

Awesome episode.

Basically we learn (I'll post in spoiler)

Spoiler for Synopsis:

Rena is the King Bruce Windbloom's Otome, she has the Crimson Jade Jewl. Two new Otome appear and they are Raquel who has the Dragons Rhodonite Jewl, it doesn't seem to resemble any robe we have seen before and Elliot who has the GalactiaMarine which is a robe previously used in Mai Otome. Sifr is a girl everyone is trying to protect but for what reason I do not know. Smith seems to be the main enemy.

the figthing scenes for this episode were quite cool!

Power seems to be generated not only by the GEM, but by the experience of the bearer too (elliot seems too weak for a Collum..) now i'm wondering how the others collums will look like... Shamrock is a pretty bad ass ( can't picture Kruger telling Sara to kill someone like that!!!) (she must be really Shizuru's mother....)
Also I wonder who's the Ice Silver Crystal this time.. (hope it's the Mikoto look alike.. she seems cool to wield the cannon ^^; )...
And finally, like mother, like daughter... Rena is soooooo Mary-sue..
Her power is so great that she even breaks the GEM... pppffftt... rriiiiiggghhhtt
MARY-SUE!!!!!

I want to see more of the Collums, and young Miss Maria and cool stuff like that...
And by the end of the 3rd chapter i want to see a preview for a Mai-Otome 3, featuring young Natsuki and Shizuru!!!!!!!!

Btw, when is the 2nd OVA coming out? 3 or 4 months away?

Not sure but the ending theme has Miyu in it, in normal form.

Am i the only one who herd the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy movie theme (the part just after earth is destroyed and the book is shown) during the first materalise scene?

No, you're right, it's definetely a wink to the theme, the only diference is that the hitchhikers theme goes lower as it continues, while this theme goes higher as it continues.

After rewatching the episode I noticed that M-9 looked alot like KOS-MOS from Xenosaga, seems like there is a mix of her and Miyu in M-9.

It seems there is absolutely news as of yet when the next dvd will be released.

And also it seems Kajiura Yuki (who did the music for Hime and Otome) is not writing the music for this OVA. So far I am impressed as to whoever is and I hope he/she can continue to keep it up.

Fran? Is that in English? Looks like we got Sifr's last name wrong after all.

That's the second instance of "A.R." dating appearing in the Otomeverse. The first one was in TV episode 8, around 00:17:29:

This means that S.ifr takes place at least 24 years after the War of the Dragon Lord, since this is when Monica Julen died. Which places it roughly 26 years before the TV series - "roughly" because the war probably didn't occur exactly 50 years ago.

"A." probably means "after". Wonder what the "R." stands for...
