Problem: The BETA are still evolving, even if we consider the Original Hive Superior being gone. The other Hives might be picking up the slack, likely experimenting with other BETA derivatives and trying out new tactics.

Just thinking: The Soldier-class BETA were constructed from Human tissue. So it's pretty likely that the BETA were thinking up alternate types and species to counteract whatever human beings can create--the main advantage that BETA have is that they can pretty much produce new variants/strains in a short period of time. On the other hand, humans still need development time to create new TSFs, and that's not taking into account how long it takes to train a human Eishi capable enough for the job.

I'm now wondering if taking ou the Original Hive Superior in ML:Alt only delayed things as opposed ot actually giving humanity a foothold against the BETA.

Wait, sudden thought. Sumika was the 'main LI*' in Alternative and Cryska was the same for Total Eclipse. Both things they have in common is both ended up dead. If Yuzuka is Hibiki's LI then it means she dies too?

hmm, on vndb it says that the game will be an all ages. does this mean age doesnt make 18+ anymore? considering how the 3rd chronicle was in the age range...

probably since they find out VN with great story sell a lot more without sex scene > more people to buy it

VN with crappy story or mediocre > need 18+ to sell but none of them reach the same number as steins;gate
(VN without 18+ scene but have great story)

even muv-luv alt have a lot fewer 18+ scene than others ( 1 scene + random picture from second muv)
yet it best of three muv-luv trilogy
