probably another 3 or 4 episodes, that's how long I expect the Naruto - Gaara fight to take.

That's because they screwed up the flow by concentrating on the Hokage fight instead of going to the current battle between Sasuke/Sakura/Gaara/Naruto.. These are all supposed to be happening at the same time.. It wouldn't feel so weird if they would have gone back and forth and advanced both fights at a reasonable pace together.. But they all but finished the Hokage fight, and now they gotta pace the current fight up to speed..

Doesn't work well in the Anime the way they did it.. =)

I think what he meant was, they do occur at the same time, but in the beginning they showed the Oro v. kage fight a lot, at a rather fast pace, while the other fight hadn't even started. Now they got that nearly over with way before the end of the gaara/sasuke/naruto fight (obviously, since it's just begun), so they have to "catch up" - thus, they're showing the last moments really slowly and repetitively.

I thought about doing that...and the worst is, you wait for a week, 168 hrs?, and have all these expectations, then you finally start watching the new ep., and next thing you know, it's over. (SO short

)

But if you did that you'd have to wait anyway...the only way I found to suppress the eagerness of waiting is to watch a bunch of other anime in the meantime. (it does work...)

I aggree with you Akamaru. That is probably what the episode will contain. The few episodes after 76 should be pretty kick ass though.

(what i mean is, it seems more dragged out) It would royally suck if the hokage battle ended now anyway... i think this ep will be sakura pinned to a tree and then all the gaara history. There's lots of gaara history, much more than one chapter. And the episode will end just as the history is over and the fight is about to begin
