I heard this song at the end of Gta Lost and the damned and it just blew my mind
It just fit the whole story so well

This is a good thread--a lot of good suggestions. I approve.

I don't know if anyone else here is fond of the Chicago Blues, but if we're sharing, Luther Allison is a fabulous and rather undeservedly obscure Bluesman. He wasn't ever a really groundbreaking artist, but he combines spectacular arrangements with incredibly soulful vocals that give a whole new life to a slew of standards. He also did some cool stuff in the 80's and 90's, when for the most part the Chicago Blues was "dead". Worth checking out.

Provide some youtube vids of their music. That'll be a great way to show us what their music is like.

Well, the link is to YouTube, but an embedded video would probably be a lot easier in, so thus:

Nice songs, everyone!

I just recently discovered a band from a city about 5 hours from where I live called Chilliwack (named after the city they're from). At the peak of their career, they were apparently more famous than B.T.O. and Loverboy.

If you like their songs, also check out "She Don't Know" by them. I can't find a YouTube link, but it should be around on MP3 sites.

Hawkwind:

D-Rider

High Rise

I'm sure most people knows the band Survivor only for "Eye of the Tiger" (which I think is overrated) but the band overall seems underrated. They have many other great songs scattered throughout their discography. I would recommend The Best of Survivor album for starters. These 2 are my favorites:

Is This Love?
Spoiler for Is This Love?:

High On You
Spoiler for High On You:

Good old catchy 80's music.

^ I suppose I'm one of the few who know of Survivor's good tracks.

Recently saw April Wine live and they were insanely awesome. Just goes to show that talent does not decay over time. Here's a few of the songs they played:

^'I Like to Rock' has 2 famous guitar riffs at the end: "Day Tripper" and "I Can't Get No Satisfaction". What's epic is when they played those riffs and then actually played parts of those songs. Epic concert.
