I suppose Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann fits your needs, but personally, I wasn't particularly fond of the music in TTGL as it resembled Taku Iwasaki's similar contributions to Kekkaishi. The music isn't bad. Marvelous actually. Just wished some songs were instrumentally more developed than the need for Rap in some places, but the man is damn talented and the style used certainly matched the grit and passions of the series so I appreciate it more than hearing my own complaints. Whoops, my bad for the rant.
Busou Renkin was a pretty solid series for me too. One character in mind comes off as strange, weird, peculiar, etc... because of his eccentric taste in fashion, but it was minor peeve for me as he wasn't a bad character. The story was well developed with an equally well-presented ending imo. Tenjou Tenge... I'll just leave it for you to check. I felt the story had several underdeveloped plots, and it lacked a main story because of the change in perspective in different arcs. But it's a fun series still worth mentioning. I'll leave it up to someone else to suggest Claymore. |
