Hm, from that image, only the casual clothed Nanoha looks really good. Casual Fate has a goofy looking expression on her face. I think it's because her mouth is too small...

Battle Fate's pose is all over the damn place, but Battle Nanoha looks decent.

(Nanoha has always been better than Fate anyways )

They're the movie version gashapons, I think. BJ Fate > BJ Nanoha / Casual Nanoha > Casual Fate, but they're all meh quality(Not that it stopped me from pre-ordering them)

They're never good quality. Makes sense considering you get four for like 20$

Alter is where the quality is at~

True, but the casual Nanoha looks good enough to make the set worth the purchase, but maybe that's because I think her outfit is really cute.

I don't own anything from Alter, so I can't really comment on their work. I consider Good Smile Company to be the best.

Well, you don't really need to have one yourself to see the quality.

Shin Sonic Fate (Arguably the most popular figure of this last year, if not ever.)
http://wawawawasuremono.com/2009/12/...ic-form-alter/

And movie 1st Nanoha(which is very popular as well)
http://dwtoyspot.blogspot.com/2009/0...oha-movie.html

Goodsmile is good too, and puts shame to Alter in terms of their base(which Alter sucks at)...But Alters figures are incredibly dynamic and solid figures.

The main problem? The price. Sure it looks nice and it certainly does warrant the price tag it gets, but it's unreasonable for some one like me who has limited funds I usually use to buy DVDs.

I am a bargain hunter, though. Almost all of the figures I have I got at some sort of discount

True, well, I never did say Alter was cheap.

...But I suppose you get what you pay for. Assuming you don't find a bargain.

That is one seriously nice photo shoot. Thanks.

That random shot of his 3 Detolf glass cabinets is a reminder that I really need to get me one or two of those. As much as I love my figures, it's kinda' crazy not to get something to keep them in.

Shin Sonic is truly dynamic displaying everything Fate has to offer. Compared to the swimsuit where it didn't sell so well..

Personally I prefer more reserved, casual poses over the super dynamic action poses. Just take a look at my Sakura. She's just so simple and utterly perfect.

(Me, biased? What ever are you talking about? )

Casual poses are fine, but when you're forking over so much for one figure, the figure needs something that really stands out...The material used is the same as any other...So you have dynamic pose and solid design to work with.

Not that I wouldn't empty my bank account for a high quality casual clothes version...But they're so rare it's but a dream.

Detolfs are nice. A bit pricey, but certainly worth it if you collect a lot of figures.

I like casual poses in casual clothes. One of my favorites is my Kotobukiya Aoi from ToHeart.

I want a figure of Fate based on this (without Bardiche, just have her clasping her hands behind her back).

Whatever image works. The companies seem to have a lot of money these days to manufacture and design new ones.

Ah, that makes more sense.

Found the Fate plushie. I think she looks really good. Red eyes too! Unlike the other plushie of her.

I like this Fate's eyes and hair, but not really liking the proportions. If only the eyes and hair of this were switched with the movic one. Don't really like this Nanoha.

.... lol, the devices look funny. <__>;

WHERE IS MY FEINYAN FIGYUUUUUUUUUUU. So tempted to try and get Azunyan nendo just to steal the nekomimi.

Edit:
ffff, I forgot Hobby Search has that sale thing and now I want to SAL Nanoha and Fate. ._.;

That's a crazy price for five frames of film, but, I honestly can't blame anyone for wanting it that badly if they can afford it.

I strongly agree and endorse those comments and even more some.
The second Fate plushie looks very appealing btw.
