Touma wakes up lying on his back in a world filled with nothing but black. Othinus tells him he failed and that the world has ended.
He can’t accept what happened, so he turns his back on her and wanders around looking for Index and the others. No matter how long he wanders, he can’t find anything. He despairs, but returns to Othinus in hopes of doing something to the source with IB.
Othinus tells him IB is the greatest barrier to her goal and that killing him would be easy, but then IB would transfer elsewhere and create another uncertain element. She says she will instead crush his heart to neutralize IB and then raises the lance to recreate the world.
Touma wakes up in what looks like a model house. A nearby TV says he is the enemy of the world and that he is currently hiding out in the 23 wards.
Othinus appears and tells him this is a world where the “viewpoint” has been changed and that he will die if he does not escape. (In this world, the incarnation of destruction side of him is emphasized rather than the hero side.)
He realizes several people are approaching and tries to hide, but smokes bombs are thrown in and he is forced to escape.
He decides to check on his parents and realizes he is in Shibuya. He rescues Fukiyose, but she is hostile to him and injures him. He runs away and finds Aogami who injures him further. He somehow manages to escape again.
He enters an open area with a large monitor, but doesn’t notice Komoe approaching who stabs him in the back with a blade. He collapses and the monitor shows his parents giving a speech criticizing him
Komoe goes in for another attack, but time freezes and Othinus appears again. She asks him if there is any reason to risk his life to protect people in this world where no one looks at him properly.
He says there is and she says she will show him another world. Time begins again, Komoe swings down the blade and he loses consciousness.
He wakes up to find himself in a classroom at his school. He finds that everyone views some stranger as “Kamijou Touma” and sees this person living his everyday life. (In this world, others do not recognize him)
Othinus once again asks him if this world is worth protecting and he says it is. She laughs at him and asks him if he is really Kamijou Touma while looking so pathetic. He doesn’t know what to say and she throws a class photo to him and says she will return him to the original world if he can choose the real one. She tries to destroy his identity.
He sees through the danger of her question and says that “I am Kamijou Touma”. This irritates her, so she shows him more and more worlds with different “viewpoints”.
While experiencing the different worlds, Touma’s mind is gradually worn down, but he also gains more and more experiences from them. Those experiences tell him Othinus is not recreating the world from the ground up. She is simply adding on a filter that changes the viewpoint. He wonders if there is a way to resolve the situation, but Othinus realizes what he is thinking, says he has not despaired because he still has hope, and shows him a certain world.
In that world, he sees Sherry when Ellis did not die, Agnese who was not orphaned, Index, Kanzaki, Stiyl, etc. living together when Index did not have to have her memories erased, and all the other people who he had met. They are all living happy lives.
Othinus says this is a world where everyone was saved and everyone lives happily. She says such a world requires for him to not exist and that his continued existence in the world will destroy it all before long.
If Othinus kills him, that destruction will be 99% avoided, but given the powerful bad luck that brought him through so many deadly situations, the most certain way to 100% avoid it would be for him to commit suicide.
As long as he continues to exist, misfortune will arrive for everyone else. He becomes convinced that he is evil and he wanders around a city modelled after AC to find somewhere that will surely kill him.
On the way, he sees Accelerator, LO, the Sisters, and Mikoto together. He sees Item missing none of its members with Fremea. He also passes by Index and speaks with her, but she does not remember him.
Finally, he finds a large building, takes the elevator to the roof, and just before he jumps, he is kicked from the roof by a girl who looks like Misaka #10031. He hits a window washing platform and escapes death.
He and the girl move to the dorm room he would have lived in in that world and the girl says she is the great will within the Misaka Network. She says she saw his plight and came to save him and that Othinus is changing the world using software that alters the settings of the living and the dead. Hearing that, he assumes Othinus has updated the Einherjar spell using the lance’s power.
The will of the network is free from the spell because she is a thought life form that has recorded the time of all 20,000 Sisters (including the dead ones) and so she is a vague existence that does not fall under the category of the living or the dead.
Including the dead Sisters means she has recorded the time going into a few seconds after death.
The will of the network points out Touma has been looking away from this world’s contradiction (the fact that on one remembers the original world) and explains that Othinus has been making them forget because she fears having those he has saved gathering together and saving him. However, he has begun to accept this world where everyone was saved, so he does not react.
The will tells him he can sometimes prioritize his own convenience over others’ and asks him if it doesn’t bother him that Othinus stole his appearances. Touma thinks to himself about it and reveals his inner thoughts. (With five or six pages of nothing but dialogue.)
Hearing that, the will is relieved and says it was worth speaking to him. Touma decides to face Othinus once more, but for his own sake rather than for someone else’s.
As he leaves the room, the will says they will meet again in the original world and disappears.
He confronts Othinus in the schoolyard of his school.
Seeing him, she gives up trying to use the world to defeat him and instead says she will do so directly.
Touma is easily killed and, just as he experienced many different worlds, he repeatedly challenges her and is repeatedly killed.
Once he has been killed 10031 times, and is still challenging her just the same, Othinus says she has lost interest. Suddenly, she is assaulted by an intense headache.
She is confused because Touma should have had his mind worn down more, but he likens it a replaying a video game. Even if two people repeat the same time and experiences over and over, the mental state of someone repeatedly challenging a powerful foe and the person repeatedly defeating a weak foe are different and so Othinus’s mind would have been worn down more.
Also, he says that, since she can recreate the world, she must have been continually changing it in search of the world she wanted. He realizes that she had tried to make him destroy himself and had not killed him because she had not completely abandoned the option of returning the world to normal with IB.
She says she will kill him and completely rid herself of that option and then create the next world. She attacks, but is shocked when he evades it.
After being killed by her over and over, he had gained the experiences needed to analyze her attack pattern. He says his experience points have surpassed a certain point and he can now see through her movements. He evades all of her attacks and destroys the lance with his right fist.
She says she still has a method of killing him. She fires a crossbow and ten arrows appear overhead.
He evades 9 of the 10, but she uses herself as bait to hit him with the tenth while he also hits her. Everything but his head, shoulders, and arms is blown away.
He failed to evade the last arrow because he had only analyzed the attack patterns from the effects of the lance (100% success) and had not analyzed the attack patterns from the effects of the fairy spell (100% failure).
As he awaits death, he tells Othinus he hopes she can use his IB well when recreating the world.
Othinus finally realizes she wanted someone who understood her true desire and tells him he is worthy of understanding her. She entrusts her desire not to the world she had originally lived in, but a world in which Touma lives. She then recreates the world.
Touma wakes up and realizes he is arriving at Sargasso and confronting Othinus.
He is confused because the world has been reverted to the just before the lance was used, but he realizes something is wrong with Othinus and that she is not resisting as the attacks fired by Mikoto and the others blow her away. He realizes this is the original world she has handed over to him. He realizes that he was simply forced to suffer through all those different worlds yet it had not reached any kind of conclusion, so he chases after her.
Long-distance attacks from the Christian alliance rain down on her, but Touma blocks them with his right hand, surprising her.
She had planned to accept her death and he asks her what she is doing. She explains that the fairy spell and the lance have created an unstable state, that she is losing her powers as a magic god, that the stake Ollerus stabbed into her is tormenting her within her body, that not even destroying it with IB will heal it, and that the other Gremlin members will arrive to save her even if she is captured, so she plans to accept her death.
Touma feels her situation is unreasonable, so he prioritizes his own convenience and announces he will protect Othinus even if it makes the res of the world his enemy.

I personally don't believe it (even though I was wrong last time when I didn't believed it..)

I don't know, base solely on how it sounds, I like the first half but I don't like the second half.

I can see it happening, but I'm leaning towards a 'no'.

EDIT:

On second thought... Kamijou is said to do what he thinks is right which just so happens to be what the world thinks is right, this is the chance to put this to the test.

Fake spoilers have been popping up a lot before volume release lately. I'm incline to believe this is fake until the day of release. However this summary seems to be well written thought out. Nothing in here seems to be suspect. Unlike the last fake summary.

IF ALL THE SPOILERS ARE TRUE, here are my (Personal) complaints....But let get rid of the pro first

Seem like the whole novel in dedicated to "exposition"!, which i thought "oh come on", but after re-reading the spoilers again, it doesn't seem like the big of a volume and seeing the release date from this volume and NT8 (wonder why this release so soon), i can see why

NOW FOR THE CON

Spoiler for Spoiler if the JS06 spoiler are true, but please look because i think what I have to say is a really valid opinion :):

CON: this is a me thing, But i hate "Time Travel and Parallel Universes", I ALWAYS believe THEY ARE "MCGUFFIN" (if you dont know what Mcguffin mean, please Google, didn't know this word until recently!) to the story (Final Fantasy, & Bioshock Infinite are example of this).

It like "Oh no the world destroy, let me go back in time to defeat the final again with a different tactic" OR "Shoot all my friends are dead, let me go to a Parallel world where there alive so we can fight again

those are my problem / Not saying it a major issue and THE novel not out yet, so the spoiler may be different like last time with NT8 fake spoiler which where half true and half wrong (EX: Cinderlla and Thor were mention in the NT8 fake spoiler but never appear in the actual novel)

Also, i have not read the novel, because some of the wording in the spoiler got me confuse (it my English) , When Js06 said when Othinus went back to the original World, are they back in the "ORIGINAL" OR a world with the filters on that she would be weak and not doing anything? please reply to that question please
Those thing got me confuse / but good example of Parallel world like Katekyo Hitman Reborn, After the character save the parallel world, it was Stated they went BACK TO THEIR OWN WORLD. I didn't get any info that touma back in his ORIGINAL world, but that me nickpicking

Well anyway that my opinion, sorry it very long, but we have 13 more days to see if the spoiler are true, fake, or B.S. LOL

hmm... I don't know...Like everyone else, the first half sounds plausible but the second half completely lost me...

I will treat it with a grain of salt since proper spoilers usually come out within a week of release.

For comparison's sake, when did NT6's spoilers come out? It was released on the same date as NT9 will be.
