Good to see some interesting work from you. The second focus ( or whatever it's called) on the 2nd and 4th work especialy catched my interest.

Thanks, ganbaru. Yeah, it's something I try from time to time when there's many aspects from the original source I want to include. It's a bit risky if overdone, but in these cases it works.

Revive time. Many at once, in about an hour.

Experimented. Didn't quite turn out as I had hoped.

I have no idea what I'm doing, but it still turned out kinda awesome.

Yeah, he had some real nice new ones I just had to use. They work very well with my style.

Inspiration provoked by Patchy.

This one uses one source and C4Ds, so nothing special here. I experimented with the color a bit more, as well as adding blur on the first version.

This one failed at first, using two sources, but I managed to get it to work. The depth works really nicely, IMO.

Another blending of two sources, a cityscape and a character. Might have gone overboard with the C4D, but I finally got the colors down.

Text I'm avoiding all together because I'm horrible at it :x

But at least it seems my style is evolving. Slightly.

BTW, did you happen to know a artist named '' hjl '' or at least that's the tag used for it's artwork on Danbooru.

I had never seen that name, so I just looked it up. Thanks for that. Awesome stuff.

Improving.

Probably one of my best, though it depended somewhat on the source.

Interesting update, the second and last sigs did catch my eye a little more than the others. The second for its perspective and focus, the choice to almost not showing her horns ( rather unusual when using a devil-girl for subject) did help as well. As for the last the contrast of all that white with the rest of the sig did the job.
As the Miku one, while good and using some excellent source, isn't catching my attention as well.

Usually when I do a good sig, I think than it's because of the chance or some great artwork. When the sig is bad or just ordinary, its because I screwed up somewhere

I... didn't actually think about that. Nice catch.

Fair enough. Might actually be because nothing really stands out like in my others.

Thanks for the comment.

I think than I should explain a little more; I did notice the absence of the horns and that catched my attention because it's something than usually I would try to show as much as possible. When using original or little know material, material than would not catch attention by the mere quality of what characters they are of, I try to take advantages of what could be attention grabbing, like the clothings ( or lack or shortness of ) the quality of the artwork, what accessory they have, etc... , in short, what make them different from the next picture from danbooru/safebooru. So the absence of the horns than catched my attention might be unnoticed my others

No problem, given the current situation on the sub-forum, I know how rare and usually wanted C&C is

Yeah, I get what you're saying. I think my process has gotten so streamlined and "autopilot" I normally don't think much about positioning anymore. Though, in this case, I just didn't think about the horns and instead noticed her golden armor. I have to keep this in mind next time, still.

I seriously thought that the render of second sig was Inori until ganbaru mentioned it lolololol

anyway, NothernFallout... or AX, can I still call you AX?
I've always admired your work
and I do agree that your Miku sig is one of your best.

AX is fine and what I prefer.

And thanks. I got some comments coming your way as well.

The Miku one is so lovely! Very good use of the effects and a very good luminosity!
I also like the first one especially the colours!

These are definitely my faves from your recent batch.
The first gives off great depth, which I think you constantly excel at. And the Miku one really shows awesome use of lighting and splatter/scatter brushes (I think that's what they were called) I'm also giving it my biased Miku love

There aren't actually any splatter brushes used in any of my sigs (though I should try and get some.) The splatter in this case actually comes from enhancing the source pic, much to my surprise. And thanks.

Also, you biased to Miku? Surely you jest...
