A complete CMBT pack is also available on BakaBT, but note that I've managed to secure DVD audio of both Mandarin and Cantonese. So I'm going over everything, with the hope of eventually releasing the entire series in all three languages. No estimated completion dates though
That would be fantastic. Although the thing is: we don't know if the dialogue and meaning of character's phrases might have been changed when the chinese (cantonese/mandarin) dubbing occured.

So if we only use subtitles based on the Japanese audio, I'm not sure if it reflects that.

Ideally we should have 1 subtitling for each language =/

I have flicked through the last chinese translated manga volume and it has a completely different ending then the one in the anime. :C
It's not really improper to have the cantonese/mandarin voices. After all, the series is set in China, it adds culture in a way. This is how the characters would sound like.

Technical Information:
Video: 704x480 H264 (8-bit encoding), ripped from the Japanese DVDs
Audio: Japanese (AAC), Mandarin (AC3), Cantonese (MP3)
Subtitles: English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese
Multiple audio and subtitles only apply to the 52 episodes.

Where to get: http://chuuka.jetsam.org/downloads.html

Please note: You may get better results from the file lockers because the torrent is still overloaded.
I also noticed that you added a final batch on Nyaa: http://www.nyaa.eu/?page=torrentinfo&tid=275576

In addition to that: I tried copying Baka's batch to Nyaa as a backup (since AnimeSuki seems more likely to list NT than AS for some reason) but I got the 'teapot' error I always get when trying to add BBT stuff. Ithink because Baka tags their torrent files somehow and Nyaa senses that and gets pissed.

But anyway, I looked around a bit more, and I found 3 smaller torrent files which I was able to upload successfully. These batches are how I recall originally downloading it. I think they are possibly A-K's original batches they added themselves, as opposed to the 1-52 which was an artificial fan batch. Here they are:

01-20: http://www.nyaa.eu/?page=torrentinfo&tid=294129
21-40: http://www.nyaa.eu/?page=torrentinfo&tid=294134

I think you should find the manga too. He challenged a French chef and won.

Somethings that comes in my head when remembering this anime:

>>The way they cook the food
>>The cooking techniques
>>The judges reactions to taste
>>The complex explanation after wards

Considering the work was originally in Japanese, I don't quite see the need to translate from Mandarin or Cantonese once Japanese raws are availalble. The Chinese dubs are, after all, derivative translations. You lose meaning every time you translate.

Besides, I'm not a fan of the Mandarin version insisting on calling Mao "Xiǎo Dāng Jiā" (literally, Little Majordomo) as both his nickname and his full name. He already has a full Chinese name (Liú Mǎo Xīng) available!

i watched this like.... 10 or 11 or 12 years ago i think i was still a small child
and then they show this series again in tv when im young boy and then the last episode... mao standing in the cliff with everyone including another "super great cuisine master" (i dont know its official name, its said like that in my country lol) to hunt for legendary cookware and guerilla cooking word (dont know the official name too)

its fucking cliffhanger i thought that my national tv cut off that series and decided to not continue it. and i dont understand internet back then. and now, i found out that was the real final episode...

my question. how was the ending in manga? it reach the conclusion against guerilla cooking world? my country bookstore already sold out chuuka ichiban manga loooong time ago
