Summary: A peculiar mission request is sent to Orpheus: a letter of challenge from the Britannian knight Dasko la Clermont! Orpheus surprisingly accepts this request, and heads into a duel in Chernobyl against Dasko and his Gekka Alonso!!

Highlight: Dasko la Clermont has reappeared for the first time since he was injured in chapter 6! The serious Knightmare battle here for the first time in a while is one of the highlights of this chapter. And the Byakuen’s Gefjun Breakers is used in an unexpected manner at the climax of it! Please confirm this scene’s CG by all means in the magazine.

Also, there was an error in my earlier translation, it's Gekka Alonso, not Alfonso. It's been corrected now.

1) a single factsphere, a gekka without head can't fight, more britannian kmf can instead, because they have more factsphere in torso or shoulders.

2)arms weak and not very comfortable.

On the other hand, Orpheus, who was investigating a new model bomb, discovers equipment for surveillance on someone underneath the school. When he quickly notices something strange going on within the school, Orpheus once again takes action.

Orpheus is requested to do a mysterious mission that makes even Miss X titled her head in confusion. “A battle against the Knightmare Byakuen piloted by Peace Mark’s Oz.” The sender of this letter-of-challenge-like request is Dasko la Clement, who has faced Orpheus several times before. He says that, in order to restore the honor of his mistress Carine, he will shoot down Oz, who is infamous in Britannia. Accepting the offer, Orpheus heads to the designated location, Chernobyl.

-The Glinda Knights cannot sortie because a stand-by order has been handed down. (The two reasons for this are below)
-Military activity is forbidden in Ashford Academy by Charles' decree.
-Guinevere asks rhetorically in a monologue whether Marrybell is prepared to smear herself in blood.
-Orpheus infiltrates among the Black Knights member using his Geass and takes them down from within.
"You may be doing this because you wish to be freed from violence and oppression, but you people are equally guilty when you point your guns at unresisting civilians."
-Oldrin and Orpheus meet each other once again.
-Oldrin swings her blade (a mop she broke in half to make a sharp edge) at this terrorist facing her, and Marrybell stops her.
-Oldrin reluctantly puts away her weapon and makes a temporary alliance with him.
-According to Orpheus, Oldrin seems prone to infighting.
-At the church/chapel, Oldrin and Clara meet.
-After informing Oldrin about how Orpheus is her twin brother and has led miserable life as a result, Clara tries to kill her with Geass.
-However, for some reason, Clara's Geass doesn't work on Oldrin, but instead she is shot.
"So that is your true nature... Clara Lamperouge."
-This chapter will appear at the end of the next volume.

Gordol and Eternal do a terrific job with translating the latest Code Geass manga. I was wondering if the Code Geass: Renya the Black is still ongoing?

The final volume of Renya came out in September, so its serialization is finished now.

It's too bad that Tanigushi never used that opportunity to do a prequel that featured Charles and V.V. around the time he became Emperor of Britannia. It might have showcased as to how V.V. and Charles met C.C. as well as to the origins of their parents. Instead, we get a story that is completely removed from the anime. In contrast, Code Geass Oz is directly tied to the anime. Why can't the Code Geass manga follow that example? I feel that Code Geass Oz has a very strong chance of becoming an anime TV series in the near future.

・クララのギアスは「相手の姿を肉眼で捉えその名前を呼ぶ事で、命令を相手の意思に関係なく実行させる」能 力

読んでいてside：オルドリンの方と連携が取れていないんじゃないか？と思う点が幾つもあるのが気になっ た
1：クララのオルフェウスへの呼び方が違う（side：オルドリンでは「お兄ちゃん」なのにこちらでは「お 兄様」）
2：クララの口調や台詞回しが違う
3：オルフェウスがクララからニーナの不在を聞かされた場所及び時期が違う

Summary: Before going on his infiltration and investigation mission in Area 11, a request is given to Orpheus to destroy the Britannian military base in Hong Kong. When the mission offer arrives, Miss X worriedly tells Orpheus and the others that an executive member of “Pluton” is visiting the base. As Orpheus goes intending to both take out the Pluton member and destroy the base, Ze, Ganabati and Miss X decide together as a team to back up Orpheus.

Highlight: This chapter is linked to the recent chapters in the “Side: Oldrin” in “Comp Ace”. This chapter is set before the battle against Margrave Albert Bosh in the Oldrin chapter in the October 2013 issue of Comp Ace. The special effect cut has also reproduced from the comics version. Those who don’t read Comp Ace will have to wait until the fourth manga volume is released by Kadokawa on February 26!

Spoiler for Oz Photo Story Ch 21 Preview:

Summary: Orpheus infiltrates Area 11 in order to investigate female student Nina Einstein, who developed the new model bomb FLEIJA. Having infiltrated Ashford Academy as a student, he one day encounters the 88th Princess of the Britannia Empire, Marrybell mel Britannia, who had come to inspect the city.

Highlight: Like last chapter, this chapter is linked to the recent chapters in the “Side: Oldrin” in “Comp Ace”. In this chapter, Orpheus’ actions in the chapter in the February 2014 issue of Comp Ace are shown from Orpheus’ perspective, and it also shows the continuation from the Oldrin side in the March 2014 issue of Comp Ace released at the same time as this chapter!

Finally, here's the spoilers for this month's chapters posted by gordol:

Photo Story:
-The story this time is linked to the current story arc on the Oldrin Side (from Orpheus' perspective)
-Inwardly, Orpheus criticizes the naiveness of the Glinda Knights' crisis response skills.
-The one who shot Clara last chapter was Orpheus after having disguised himself as Oldrin.
-Clara's Geass is the ability to "make another person's body obey her commands regardless of their will by gazing at the person within her sight and calling out their name".
-The reason her Geass didn't work on Orpheus while he was disguised as Oldrin was because Clara recognized him as Oldrin.
-It seems that Clara actually hates Orpheus, and at the very end whispers "I hate you..." before dying.

Here are some differences in the photo story version compared to the events shown in the manga:
-The way Clara refers to Orpheus is different (In the manga she calls him "Onii-chan", but here she calls him "Onii-sama".)
-Clara's tone and way of speaking are different.
-The time and place where Orpheus learns from Clara that Nina isn't here is different.
-In the manga, Orpheus was at first elegantly drinking tea and watching the attack by the Black Knights on the monitor within the underground facility beneath Ashford, but in the photo story he was attacked by Clara without any time for tea and later escaped using the confusion brought on by robbery by the Black Knights.

Manga:
-Clara dies.
-It seems Clara had her brain modified by the Order. (Her beret was a present from Orpheus in order to hide it.)
-She tries to use her Geass in order to take Orpheus with her, but fails and ends up finished off by Orpheus.
-Having witnessed this scene, Oldrin misunderstands that Orpheus is a terrorist that killed an unresisting civilian.
-Due to this incident, the oppression within Area 11 becomes stronger.
-Charles personally alters the memories of Milly and the others with his Geass.
-The Glinda Knights head to the Chinese Federation next. (Meanwhile, both Oldrin and Marrybell are absorbed in their thoughts.)

Orpheus' relationship with Clara is depicted differently in the photo story...
She didn't curse him on her deathbed and didn't seem to hate Orpheus.

And there you go. Once again, the manga and photo story seem to be be following the same story with slightly different depictions. Though this may bring up questions of what's canon and such, I suggest as always to take the manga as the "main canon" and consider the photo story as "semi-canon" in the places where the details don't match.

この所、いつにも増して雰囲気悪いな…

・今月から中華連邦編
・中華連邦の腐敗やユーロ方面の軍事的摩擦の悪化もあってオデュッセウスと天子の政略結婚の準備が進められ る
・オデュッセウスは中華連邦の国民の置かれている状況を知り、内政干渉してでも打開したい
・幼い頃に見たオルフェウスの墓の事をオルドリンは忘れている
・星刻派の反ブリタニア勢力が街中でブリタニア軍と交戦（国民の犠牲者多数、星刻はエリア11に遣わされて 不在）
・今回ロボアクション多め（ゼットランドもグレイルと連動するギミックが）
・「民あっての上流階級」と考え民を守りたいオルドリンと「皇族あっての民」と考え護衛を命じるマリーベル で対立
・結果、オルドリンはマリーベルに逆らってグレイルで街を守る
・それに平静さを保ちつつも苛立ちを覚えるマリーベルにシュナイゼルが「部下の意見に耳を傾ける事も指揮官 の資質だよ」と忠告
・天子が可愛かった…が、今のスレの雰囲気見てると、スレ住人が天子見たら殺意抱くだろうなぁ …

コンプエースに移籍してからロボアクションがご無沙汰だったんで、作劇的には満足

あとホビージャパン買ってきたけど、内容については特に面白みも無かったのでざっくりと
・オルフェウスが中華連邦でプルートーンのメンバー一人殺しました
・白炎水中戦仕様（右腕を通常の腕に換装しランチャー装備）VSポートマン（プルートーン仕様 ）
・浜崎さんと内田さんのインタビューより、オルドリンはデスクワークが駄目
・浜崎さんと内田さんのインタビューより、オルドリンの方がマリーベルに依存していて二人の仲にズレが生じ て来ている
・浜崎さんと内田さんのインタビューより、マリーベルはオルフェウスに取られるんじゃないか？

Three interesting points from the above:

1 - In the manga, Oldrin and Marrybell have a fight due differences in their ideologies... considering their usual relationship, this development feels quite refreshing for me.

2 - In the interview between Hamasaki Hana and Uchida Maaya (respectively, the seiyuu of Oldrin and Marrybell in the voice drama), the two reveal that it is Oldrin who is dependent of Marrybell and this is sort of distorting their relationship.

3 - They also believe that Marrybell might be "stolen" by Orpheus.

Summary: Having gotten a hold of the whereabouts of one of the executive members of Pluton, Sharon Transit, Orpheus and the others attack a Pluton battalion conducting a military operation in the Chinese Federation. How will Orpheus get through a disadvantageous underwater battle with 6 against 1?

Highlight: The highlight this time is an underwater battle with a rarely seen Knightmare model even in the original “Code Geass” series! How will the Byakuen handle fighting at a disadvantage underwater while unable to unleash its true power? Please read it in the chapter.

Manga:
-Starting from this month, the story is occurring in the Chinese Federation.
-With the decay of the Chinese Federation and the worsening military friction on their borders with the EU, preparations are advanced for an expedient marriage between Odysseus and Tianzi.
-Odysseus knows the situation that the citizens of the Chinese Federation have been placed in, and wants to change the situation even if it means intervening in their domestic affairs.
-Oldrin has forgotten Orpheus' grave that she saw when she was young.
-The anti-Britannia influence of Li Xingke's group causes fights to break out against the Britannian army all over town. (There are a great number of victims among the citizenry, by Xingke was absent in Area 11 at the time.)
-There is a lot of robot actions this time. (The Zetland and Grail perform a combined maneuver as a gimmick.)
-Oldrin, who believes "the higher class elite only exist due to the people" and wants to protect the citizens, clashes with Marrybell, who believes "the citizens only exist due to the royal family" and orders her to remain on guard duty.
-In the end, Oldrin defies Marrybells and protects the town with the Grail.
-Despite the fact that the peace was maintained due to that, Marrybell feels irritated, and Schneizel warns her that "Listening to one's subordinate's opinions is also part of being a commander".
-The Tianzi is cute... but, when you see the current cracked atmosphere, the ones in that crack/gulf will probably feel murderous intent when looking at the Tianzi...
