Saw this too. Hope he is fully playable, then my dream would become finally true. I will play the game once with Nero as servant, though, since I really like her. Well, he kneels down before him in the scanlation.. But I guess Kinpika will follow you because of the (fe)MC's circumstances caused by beeing an almost-A.I. and his/her undeveloped personality. Gil is often interested in those "special" cases, like with Kirei's seeming freedom of emotions.

Agreed. Gilgamesh is quite low in my list of known Servants I'd partner up with given a choice, though he doesn't enter the "would NEVER choose as a Servant"-zone. This mostly because he's difficult to control, in addition to his sorta Jerkass nature

It'd be hilarious if the difficulty in playing with Gil (who should be pretty overpowered) as your servant is that he sometimes refuses to listen to your commands.

This is good. It evens things out. Two female Servants for the male MC, and two male Servants for the female MC.

Got my copy of Fate/EXTRA last week, finished my first playthrough with Caster. She's so HNNGH.

Gotta say the game is good overall, though the matches against other Masters+Servants are mostly based on luck the first time until you can figure out their pattern.

Currently on week 4 of my second playthrough with Saber, I went with the Rani route the first time so this time I've gone with the Rin route.

A quick Q:
On my first playthrough with Caster I recieved a key item:

Spoiler for item name, it relates to Caster's identity so...:

...from her after completeing X numbers of perfect matches. Is there any use for this?

I think Extra's biggest flaws, aside the technical side not really good (even for Imageepoch standards) are the rock-paper-scissors mechanics for battles and that during the course of the game there are weeks that feel completely wasted such as:

I haven't gotten around to doing Rin's route (can't get used to Caster after using Saber, and don't like the dialogue choices they used for Archer that I've seen), but Rani's route wasn't exactly good either.

Caster is pretty much "use skills all day every day" mode. Amping her Magic is all you should do.

And hey I said better, not that it was good (Week 6 is pretty much a HF like situation(where the MC has the answer but he doesn't want to realize it))

Well, early on even amping magic doesn't do a whole hell of a lot since you can fire off like, 10 skills before you're out of mana.

Yeah but the first 3 Servant patterns are so easy is not even worth worrying. (Seriously 3rd Week Caster has the same pattern all the time for starters)
